A Day

A Poem from one of my Nature days

A twinkle on water as vast as the sky,

Sunlight silently drifts down,

A bird fly’s free weaving through the trees,

an eagle soars across the warmth of the sun

a leaf that drifts calmly through the air,

On the ground the dirt lies, it is the dust of our past,

and it waits for our future.

The world sees all, and one day we shall all rest in its warm embrace,

and so we must protect what we have left.
