Vadoma: Gypsy WomanA Story by Abishai100Vadoma is born in Romania and ends up as a sociologist studying the sensitive human mind during the formative stages in the high-school experience (grades 9-12) and ponders the quality of evil itself.I wanted to retire from short-story writing with a more studious vignette revealing the intricate nuances of the fragile human mind and why a typical imaginative studious if non-mainstream modern-day woman (a gypsy-woman!) might find herself contemplating the mystery of evil amidst a 'sea' of socialization paranoia. Thanks so much for reading (signing 0ff), ==== Vadoma was born to gypsy-mystic parents in Romania in the 20th Century and became a beautiful adult gypsy-woman at the turn of the new millennium. She obtained a degree in Psychology from Brown University (Ivy League) and decided to move to Amsterdam (Netherlands) where she could study human group behavior, at a prestigious sociological research institute recently established in conjunction with the Salk Institute (in California, USA). Vadoma was conducting research on the human psychological impact of developmental scars acquired during formative stages of socialization in civilization, particularly during the high-school (grades 9-12) experience! VADOMA: "It occurs to me that the average or typical young woman in grades 9-12 in a high-school, be it public or private, is concerned about her development towards becoming a full adult woman and leading contributor to civilization or at least a focused ministress of human values. That is why she tends to prioritize the high-school experience as a 'training-ground' where she'll discover both the merits and pitfalls of ostracism and achievement. This average/typical high-school young woman is something like a 'clinical Barbie' doll discovering the imagination behind systematic and systematized development of social goals and civilization consciousness. This is an ironic but evident quality of the educational system --- to foster an interest in the development of socialization!" Vadoma quickly started publishing her sensitive and insightful sociological works on the mental and social-environment development of young women in high-school, public and private! She then started thinking back on her own high-school experience, when she moved to America from Romania at the age of 13 and was eventually enrolled in a quality public high-school in the American suburbs of New Jersey. Vadoma was very attractive and was therefore approached by many popular high-school boys for courtship and dates. However, she remained committed to developing her sense of regularized society role-playing and as therefore always searching for a 'typical beau' to find to marry. She considered her high-school experience very 'typical.' VADOMA: "Now that I'm an adult and married to a sociologist I met in Holland, we enjoy watching World Cup soccer games together on TV and cheering on the civilization process of game-gauged social compacts and sports-catalyzed culture-exchange between nations in major international sporting events! I make parallels between these customs-rich World Cup soccer games between rivalling countries such as Argentina and England and the developmental growth of the typical/average high-school young woman learning about norms through disaster-control. Perhaps my own high-school experience indicates a special 'consciousness' regarding the adaptations involved with the experience of customs expectations. What then is the nature of 'pathological' evil?" ==== ![]() © 2019 Abishai100 |
