Frankfurt Heist (Germany): The Mask!

A wily thief stages a Commerzbank heist in Frankfurt (Germany) and may find himself mired in Herut terrorism deformities!

Here's a mock-parody heist story inspired by Out of Sight (George Clooney) but with a slight and nifty politically-conscious "German edge" to the short-story, which I hope you will read/like. Thanks for reading (God bless),

Frankfurt (Germany) is a Euro-city of great history and traffic. It's also the location of Commerzbank, a prominent financial institution with a vault-room holding great bars of German gold. Germans love chocolate and Germans love gold! Frankfurt is a great city.

Isaac is a thief. He's a real bank robber. He's traveling to Frankfurt (Germany) to stakeout the Commerzbank and steal about $10million worth in gold bars from its vault-room! Isaac has a master-plan, and it includes a Coronavirus mask. He's something between a pirate and a nerdist!

ISAAC: I arrive at Frankfurt Airport and notice its immaculate glass structuralism.

Isaac arrived in Frankfurt on Lufthansa from JFK. He had a comfy flight and now's preparing for his heist, which is 6 months away.

ISAAC: Frankfurt (Germany) is a wondrous Euro-city, and I met a great woman here and we became close!

The Commerzbank is a really impressive building. There's lots of glass. There's lots of security too. Isaac will walk in with his Coronavirus mask gear to make a transaction involving diamonds on the day of the heist. The Commerzbank is open only 3 days a week during the Euro-quarantine. Isaac will go in on a Thursday morning.

Isaac pulls in to the bank parking lot on a gold bicycle and carrying a backpack containing (fake) diamonds!

He walks into the Commerzbank with his face-covering gear, protective mask, on and walks up to the first security guard he sees. The guard notices Isaac looks very eccentric in his facial gear. Isaac tells him, "Call me the Mask!"

The young woman Isaac met and started dating is an athlete but working undercover for German police and suspects Isaac is a terrorist working for the Israeli radical/rogue group Herut.

Herut's responsible for the bombing of various places in Germany and it's all owed to a historic grudge regarding Western civilization sympathy for Palestine and Muslim groups in Jerusalem.

ISAAC: I read about Herut terrorism in Germany, but I'm really ignorant of it all, but I'm sensitive to German feelings!

Isaac hands the security-guard at Commerzbank a toy gun and tells him to hold it and check to ensure that it's not loaded. He then walks up to the bathroom door and gets his other replica gun which is loaded with a tranquilizer dart. He takes that gun back to the guard and tells him to give him the gun he handed him earlier in substitution for the gun he has in his hand and to make sure of course that one's unloaded too, but during the switch, he tricks the guard and keeps the loaded dart-gun for himself. The guard thinks both toy guns are unloaded, and Isaac has explained he's depositing diamonds in the bank for his new merchant account to open a toy store in Frankfurt.

Isaac walks up to the teller-station and tells the teller to quietly place $10 million worth of gold bars in his backpack because he's wielding a dart-gun with a sedative tip that will possibly creatue an epileptic seizure. He then waves to the guard with his toy gun, signaling to the guard to wave his copy-gun back in good humor and the guard does so! Isaac the thief then turns to the teller and whispers, "The guard is my accomplice, so don't turn the alarm on, and you won't have to worry about this heist at all, because it's related to an anti-terrorism movement against Herut in Frankfurt!"

The teller complies and gets the gold from the vault and places it in Isaac's backpack, and Isaac gifts the teller his (fake) diamonds and jokes to hand the diamonds in good gesture to the guardsman once he exits the bank! The teller thinks this entire thing must be some underground press motion against Herut terrorists seeking to rob Commerzbank. Isn't that crazy?

Isaac takes his gold backpack and hops onto a subway and makes his way to Frankfurt Airport and then on a Lufthansa transit to JFK. He's forgotten to call his German girlfriend, which is ironically good, since she'd been staking him out, thinking he's linked to Herut terrorism!

This is a story of a strange bank robbery linked to otherwise modern urban paranoia regarding Israel-Palestine terrorism, which might compel news-audiences to ask, "Do we make movies about infrastructure vulnerabilities to point to the glaring problem of civilization depression?
