==== Isaac Satan was a prominent art dealer of comics in Los Angeles. He'd sold many pieces and even made some of his own for a pretty penny, but he lived alone and was somewhat lonely! ![]() ISAAC: I like making and collecting renditions of outstanding fantasy characters and avatars of folklore/comics. ![]() Isaac worked very hard in his private den in LA. He tooled and tooled to find the right niches and networks for his art sales. He found many nice highways in this manner, and he studied various modern civilization news-stories such as blood-diamond conspiracies in Africa which made him more inspired to find patriotic comics art in his den, a very illuminated and private but lonely work-den in LA. ![]() ISAAC SATAN: I think I'll start making graphic renditions of lively human activity into forms of daydream silhouettes! ![]() All this creativity and mental work didn't soothe Isaac's lonely heart. He continued to simply feel lonely in Los Angeles. He decided to start making Saturday daytrips to the nearby cemetery where he'd write poems about deceased individuals and imagine they'd return to life as comic book characters. This soothed his loneliness somewhat, but it didn't go away, and Isaac Satan started to have night-time sleep-dreams about being visited by ghosts! ![]() ISAAC: Maybe I'll make delicious comic book stick figure doodles of harmless avatars to chase away these bad dreams. ![]() Isaac felt like his scheme to use art to soothe loneliness and bad dreams was at first working. He'd started to feel invigorated about everyday life albeit with a lingering loneliness. His art around him, simple and joyful, helped him forget about the haunting feeling of death and sadness! ![]() ISAAC: Tonight, I'll take some sleeping-pills to soothe my mind so I may have superior dreams...let's see. ![]() Isaac did indeed have a superior dream that night in LA. He was transported inside a Romanian kingdom in old Europe. He was the prince of a castle and surrounding the castle were various estates and manors and villages. In one of these estates lived a poor but lovely young servant-girl named Cinderella who danced and sang to herself all the time in daydreams about someday becoming rich and famous. ![]() Cinderella only talked to animals like birds and dogs and cats and mice and squirrels and foxes near and inside her wealthy stepmother and stepsisters' estate in Romania. These animal friends were in fact Cinderella's only friends on Earth. She told them about her daydreams about becoming rich and famous. ![]() Cinderella's stepmom and stepsisters were very cruel taskmasters who always and regularly insisted their 'servant-girl' relative always tend to her chores and labors like an obedient paid working-girl in their bounteous estate! ![]() One day, a goodly witch thought she noticed some birds chirping a sad song for Cinderella and decided to visit the poor servant-girl with a special transformation proposal. Cinderella was sad that night and accepted the proposal. The goodly witch transformed her from a raggedy clothed servant into a gown-adorned fairy princess in front of her animal friends. ![]() The goodly witch then gave Cinderella an incredible magic pumpkin carriage and horse to ride to the castle ball event where the Prince would select a lovely bride that night. The prince of course was Isaac Satan, in this imaginary dream of course, and he hoped Cinderella would show up somehow adorned in the loveliness required for him to promise her a new life. ![]() Cinderella felt more beautiful than she'd ever felt in her entire miserable life on the planet. ![]() She felt like no one or nothing would stand in the way of her dreams now, and she was eager to meet the Prince now. ![]() The goodly witch remarked that Cinderella had miraculously become a true vision of idealized beauty and magic! ![]() She prepared herself to go to the ball and meet the fair Prince after she gazed upon her first-time luxurious reflection in the nearby water fountain. She told herself that anything was possible in this universe where simply wishes are almost always met with a certain line of untold promises. This was the life that she'd always imagined could be really magical. ![]() The Prince (Isaac Satan) swept Cinderella off her feet that night at the castle ball event and finally asked her to marry him and become his Princess. She was flabbergasted, but her time to return home had arrived, so she told the Prince she'd have to scurry home for now but that he should try to seek her out...if his promise was true and unconditional! ![]() The next day, the Prince (Isaac Satan) went trekking through the estates and manors and villages of the great kingdom in search of Cinderella herself. He promised himself that his butler Jeeves would present to her his ring of marriage if she would be able to procure just one of the lovely glass-slippers she'd worn to the romantic castle ball the night before. The Prince went looking at each household to see which young woman inside had one of these glass slippers! Finally, he found the estate in which Cinderella lived, with her cruel and wealthy stepmom and stepsisters, and she'd presented herself as a fairly dressed handsome house-girl...named Cinderella. ![]() The Prince (Isaac Satan) was hypnotized by Cinderella's simple charm and was convinced this was the same princess who'd danced with him the night before and demanded to converse with her in private. However, her cruel stepmom was so jealous and furious she ordered Cinderella to go inside her chambers and return to greet the prince with her usual servant-girl clothes on her body. She obeyed, but Cinderella also brought out the magical glass slipper which the Prince sought as proof of her identity. Jeeves, the prince's butler discovered to his great amazement that Cinderella was indeed that fairy-tale princess from the night before who'd danced so wonderfully with the Prince (Isaac Satan). ![]() When Isaac Satan awoke from his strange and incredibly vivid dream, he knew now that the omen was a special spiritual nudge for him to find true love in his lonely and depressing workaholic art life. He decided to start visiting public places until he met a nice young woman to romance. When he met such a girl, he told her he wished to call her...Cinderella. ![]() This is a story of the idea that even artists can become workaholics. When they do, have they forfeited their encounters with the more mysterious face of metaphysical life on Earth --- the face of dogged divinity?
