This is a sequel to a previous story on WritersCafe, but it's not really a continuation of that original story, which is a soccer-thief fable. This one's about ice-hockey, so I hope you like it! Enjoy,

Pittsburgh is a nice US city in Pennsylvania and home to the Penguins (NHL) ice-hockey team, where a striker named Amlan Satan doubles as a diamond-thief named Shadow. Amlan Satan's friends call him 'Socrates' in Pittsburgh, since he's a great 'society-scholar' of diamond-capitalism, having studied at Dartmouth-CalTech.

Satan (Amlan) is a solid striker and sometimes mid-center for the Penguins and hopes his team will win the Stanley Cup this year.

Satan's wife Helen is a fashion-model in NYC and visits him in PA for Penguins games on TV. Helen is nicknamed 'Conti' by the fashion-world, because of her distinct Italian beauty!

SPORTS-WRITER: The Pittsburgh Penguins look red-hot this season and will most likely grab the Stanley Cup!

SATAN (Amlan): I'm a lover of ice-hockey and gems, and I think we Penguins have what it takes this year...with Bauer.

Meanwhile, Amlan Satan (aka, 'Shadow') is plotting a diamond-heist of the baron Goldfinger's 'blood-diamonds' in this Pittsburgh financial bank.

SATAN/SHADOW: These Goldfinger diamonds will be a nice Interpol-relations asset exchange for a private Swiss account.

Goldfinger keeps his 'gold diamonds' in the Pittsburgh bank, in safe-box #133.

Satan/Shadow walks into the Pittsburgh PA bank in a strange theater costume and wielding a large toy water-rifle and grabs the guardsman at the front-entrance and whispers in his ear, "This toy rifle is filled with corrosive acid!" and walks the carefully walking guardsman to the bank manager's office.

The bank robber (Satan/Shadow) explains to the stunned bank manager he intends to take Goldfinger's 'gold' blood-diamonds from safe-box #133 in that Pittsburgh bank that day. The manager/guardsman escort the costumed Shadow (Amlan Satan!) to the safe-box area of the bank's vault room.

Amlan Satan walks out the bank that day with Goldfinger's blood-diamonds and hops onto the Metro and makes his way to the underground diamond-exchange system station controlled by Interpol-relations for a Swiss-deposit before then hopping back onto the Metro to make his way back to the Penguins NHL ice-hockey stadium for their Stanley Cup playoffs game against the tough and gritty Flyers.

Satan buys his wife Helen a diamonds-and-pearls million dollar necklace for Valentine's Day the next year.

Prior to that Valentine gift, Satan ('Shadow') is part of that winning Penguins team that season in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The hot Penguins knock off the Flyers 4-2 before defeating the Kings 4-3 in the Finals. This is thanks to Satan's outstanding assist-plays to hot Crosby and 3 goals against the Kings, swift diagonal shots through the goalie's crossed legs.
