A prestigious law-firm in Chicago/USA was host to a special case regarding NORAID, a North American political-sympathy group offering sponsorships/charities to Irish Catholic relief initiatives in Belfast (Northern Ireland).

The two main lawyers of the Chicago law-firm, Dorn & Dorn, were Connie and Carla, two Stanford law graduates who'd wanted the case for modern continental traffic implications regarding citizenry-engaged political voting/vouchers and media-driven political dialogue in this new era. Connie and Carla themselves were immersed in Windy City political aura and themselves always took the metro to work every morning together and sometimes went to bars together after work looking for potential male mates in Chicago!

CONNIE: Maybe this case can change the way we look at Catholic-Protestant troubles.
CARLA: Maybe we'll get great Dorn&Dorn media-attention for nifty journalism rights, too!

The courthouse that would try this intriguing case in the Windy City would see Connie and Carla try opposite sides of the same case, since both parties were hiring Dorn & Dorn to represent them! Connie would represent the liberal faction, NORAID itself, hoping for more media space for Irish Catholic sympathy-politics in mainstream journalism. The opposing party, represented by Carla of Dorn & Dorn, would voice the socio-legal concerns of the Christian Coalition wary of American endorsements of sociopolitical groups in Europe controversially tied to news-stories about modern anti-government terrorism (i.e., IRA).
