The modern world was filled with comics storytelling about heroic democracy-defense and anti-terrorism adventures.

Amlan Satan (code-name: Storm-Shadow) is a blood-diamond infiltration-agent with Interpol-relations working as a ninja-thief to subvert baron influence over terrorism-financing and blood-diamond smuggling, stealing blood-diamonds from barons such as Ion/Goldfinger in Europe to undo their social prestige and mystique. Amlan ('Storm-Shadow') is the prototypical underground agent of this modern civilization 'aesthetic' of James Bond imagination for anti-terrorism storytelling!

SATAN (Storm-Shadow): I've worked as a diamond-thief in North America and Europe, operating with the alias Thespian!

However, this isn't really the full drama of Amlan's story. See, friends, before he became a 'James Bond' or 'GI Joe' in the world, he's a terrific kids' league soccer star in North America. He gained fame as an 10 year-old in the kids' league soccer games in New Jersey and Quebec, as his travel-team the Fury went on to gain great laurels and upsetting the continental giants the Blast and the Fire. Along the way, Amlan would be featured in kids' sports magazines in North America, including the awesome Soccer-Star (Mickelson House).

He still keeps this coveted memento-trophy of the achievements with the Fury in his American getaway-hideaway home in California. This Fury trophy reminds him why soccer's such a terrific socialized competition-game symbol of human ardor and imagination. This is why Amlan ('Storm-Shadow') started referring to himself from a young age as 'Soccer-Man' (a comic book trophy allegory really!).

SATAN ('Storm-Shadow'): Soccer is like chess; you play terrorists today in chess-mentality, and soccer's like game-boxing.

It's true, my friends. Soccer is like chess, and today, Storm-Shadow engages these bloody barons of terrorism-financing in Europe and North America like chessmasters. These 'dark villains' of civilization demand absolute respect for competitive underworld politics, and Amlan thinks of these bad guys when he remembers his days as a youngster as the idealized Soccer-Man of North America.

When Amlan turns on the TV and notices a story about an iconic American movie star named Leo who confesses he's a fanatic of American volleyball but he's extremely shy and awkward in the field of soccer, Amlan thinks to himself, "Everyone likes competitive imagination, and Leo's a volleyball-nut but confessing to soccer delinquency, so you have to wonder if soccer, like any other sports, reminds Americans (and everyone!) about the 'dots' of humanity!"

Amlan ('Soccer-Man') keeps a painting of a soccer-ball and shoe in his home-getaway as well, alongside his Fury youth-soccer gold trophy! Such a prize-memento reminds him that the idea of sports and the activity of soccer can or may at least reflect the human imagination about competition likened to human intelligence. It's why we compare sports and games to politics and teamwork!

SATAN (Storm-Shadow): I'm having memories suddenly of my Dartmouth days playing casual soccer against team-players!

Today, Storm-Shadow is more of the blood-diamond ninja 'Thespian' wielding his weapons/toys for baron-subversion for Interpol-communications. He's on the metro in Europe and North America and has little time to play soccer with neighborhood or college pals. He's just moving around all the time, friends.

However, in college, Amlan Satan played some casual soccer for gym-credits alongside the college team-players and shined out as a terrific adult-aged striker, midfielder, and sharp-shooter. He was given the college nickname 'Dartmouth-Dickie' but he still prefers his youth alias Soccer-Man.

He also played some recreational 'backyard soccer' as an adult in his neighborhood against some community athletes who play with an erected goal-set. This was a great fun, and it taught Amlan ('Soccer-Man') the value of remembering the 'face' of teamwork-excellence and talent humility in the arena of community diamonds.

SATAN (Storm-Shadow): Soccer is a game of world-excellence, producing timeless memories of immortal celebrities.

Satan's girlfriend happens to be a great fan of Argentina soccer, which has produced incredible superstars for World Cup moments and Euro-soccer moments, including Kempes, Maradona, Aimar, and Aguero.

SATAN: I drew a comic-book doodle for my girlfriend, depicting her as a 'ninja-gal' to my underground vigilante sport!

Soccer-Man's favorite sports-film is Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise), since it simply reminds him of the American joy of sports dollars...and dreams!

To combat terrorism as Storm-Shadow, Amlan has to be the perfect ninja and masked operative underground. To be an American dreamer, he has to remember his days as the more humble Soccer-Man. It's a delicate balance, for James Bond...or anyone.

When Satan noticed a news-story about the Russian World Cup soccer-tourney requiring serious anti-terrorism securities during world-play, he told himself, "Perhaps 'Soccer-Man' is what the world needs to think of when dealing with the trauma of civilization deformity!"

Is Soccer-Man a real Captain America? Is he a real James Bond? Well, we know he's at least a great and appreciative fan of world soccer. What makes him a great diplomat of the 'magic' of soccer is that he's certainly 'out there' when it comes to competition-diamonds. Isn't that what civilization could be about (philosophically)?
