They start their adventure in NJ on Labor Day and secretly form an Restaurant Club called the Eirean. ![]() Romeo's a blood-diamond infiltration-agent with Interpol-relations working to destabilize underworld gem-smuggling used for crime-financing threatening political securities in troubled Northern Ireland and the UK. He's from India. Juliet is an Irish-Catholic American lawyer and executive of NORAID studying parallels between Indian and Irish immigrant cultures in the United States. The two love-birds met at Dartmouth. ![]() ROMEO: We both love Green Lantern. JULIET: This heroine reminds us the magical ink between Indian and Irish aesthetics/graphics! ![]() Romeo also collects ancient Indian miniature paintings and decided to take his darling Juliet on a cross-country trip to sample Irish and Indian cuisine all over the United States. ![]() ROMEO: We'll visit restaurants costumed as thespians in a play about Irish-Indian immigrant meetings in old New York. ![]() JULIET: We'll sit down at every Irish/Indian restaurant we visit costumed as the thespians we'll be performing as in the play! ![]() The two love-birds met at Dartmouth and fell in love while reading Dubliners together for a political literature class. ![]() JULIET: Irish pub-food and culture in the United States is about heated hospitality! ![]() ROMEO: Juliet will fall in love with the green natural tones and sensuality of Indian curries of green color! ![]() This is a story of multicultural love and a love of restaurants/food, so follow along this unusual Labor Day tale. ![]() JULIET: We begin our plural restaurant adventure in America on Labor Day. ![]() Romeo buys Juliet a Green Lantern diamond-emerald silver-band ring for engagement-proposal. ![]() JULIET: I'll get us stained-glass wine glasses for our wines at every restaurant we visit. ![]() Here's a restaurant of casual nature they visit, an Irish pub in New Jersey where great steak-and-ale is served. ![]() ROMEO: I had no idea Irish-American hospitality was so much like the street-social spirit I noticed in Northern Ireland! ![]() JULIET: We visited an Asian-Indian-Thai restaurant next, where Romeo proposed marriage to me over great food-wine. ![]() Why would Juliet refuse in such an atmosphere in modern times, eh? ![]() JULIET: I have family-heirloom art portraits of the iconic Easter Rising in the 20th Century, and hope Romeo likes it! ![]() ROMEO: I have some Indian independence art too, but I doubt Juliet would find it altogether blended with Irish paint! ![]() ROMEO: The green magic cutlery I bought for our wedding-gift reminded us of our Indian-Irish Labor Day American romance. ![]() JULIET: Romeo bought me yet another piece of Green Lantern jewelry blending Indian and Irish aesthetics --- quite nice. ![]() ROMEO: I bought Juliet this amazing book about the intersections in 'dance' between Ireland, India, and empire. ![]() Biracial love in America is possible, simply because inter-cultural bonds are safer and freer from the modern dangers of racism, inter-religious conflicts, and terrorism.
