A 9/11 anniversary-year commemoration of UK politics, inspired by the challenging American/Western film The Devil's Own (Alan Pakula).

Belfast (Northern Ireland) was composed of a suffering Irish-Catholic minority population dissatisfied under the British-Protestant majority rule because of UK Parliament policies neglecting socioeconomic disparities creating poverty/unemployment which led to forms of frustration and crime in the modern Euro-city, now compounded by other underworld problems like blood-diamond piracy by corrupt Euro-barons. Sinn Fein felt powerless in its continuing negotiations with British Parliament. Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams joked in the media, "Maybe what this city needs is a 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' to serve as both police and guerrilla-intelligence to make inter-religious hygiene conceivable!"

Sinn Fein would get its fabled wish in this year in the Halloween/Samhain season in Northern Ireland (Belfast). A group of radical individuals tied to a prestigious American Catholic university decided to band together and formed the Foreign Irish Republican Army ('F-IRA') after reading Gerry Adams' Twitter-joke online. The FIRA was composed of various people/intellectuals/radicals from around the world who're either Americans or foreigners studying/teaching/working in North America.

FIRA: We gain inspiration from images of pluralism in modern churches, hoping to link to inter-religious schism in Belfast!

FIRA made some modest networking with NORAID, the North American sympathy-relief group tied to Irish-Catholic relief programs in the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland) designed to promote more talks between Sinn Fein and British Parliament regarding socioeconomic reforms and unemployment assistance for the minority Catholic group. FIRA wanted legitimate NORAID funds and charities before linking up to a 'standard' guerrilla-group in Belfast called N-IRA (New Irish Republican Army) and considered NORAID a terrific American resource for democratic dialogue regarding capitalism/charities.

FIRA: We've enough of images of funerals held by the Catholic minority in expression of violence between guerrillas/police.

FIRA members/recruits read Eamon de Valera's seminal work India and Ireland, a treatise on the shocking ideology parallels between the Quit India Movement in India against British rule and Ireland's struggle to end Protestant dominions in mainland Ireland (and Northern Ireland). This was inspirational, since many FIRA members/recruits were Catholics but not necessarily Irish and found Valera's work on inter-cultural coop rather stimulating in this new era of pluralism-thinking.

The FIRA members/recruits took Aer Lingus flights from JFK to Dublin and trains into Belfast and hid in IRA shelters underground and planned moves to create direct media attention on the frustration-induced guerrilla-necessity in Northern Ireland, created by under-represented socioeconomic conditions faced by the Catholic minority.

The FIRA members arrived in the Halloween/Samhain season and began plotting their specific course of action and the members included both men and women. They decorated their main hideout haven with glowing Jack-'o-Lanterns!

FIRA members also attended an important inter-religious fireworks display in Northern Ireland where Catholics-Protestants gathered to celebrate a new Parliament proposal to create a commercial bridge for supermarket local goods bridging Dublin and Belfast and uniting the two religious communities through basic modern post-9/11 consumerism.

The FIRA members remarked on the basic human/social spirit of the Samhain season in Belfast (Northern Ireland) and hoped their newfound mission to destroy the British 'machine' of inter-religious socioeconomic disparity neglect would finally be noted and marked alongside all this otherwise continuing 'street-spirit' of Halloween amidst the background of poverty/unemployment/crime and police violence (necessary).

UK MAGAZINE: We're not certain what this 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' is but we know Belfast needs media lights.

Meanwhile, backlash Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) brigades of angry wealthy Protestant young men aligned to track down and kill these flown-in members of FIRA. The UVF men were in denim, black sweaters, and ski-masks and armed with guns from the blood-diamond underground in Northern Ireland.

FIRA: We get the idea to post flyers of pro-Republicanism comic book art all over Belfast for Halloween/Samhain.

It was known for generations that British empire responses to guerrilla-actions translated into costumed/uniformed recruited brute-force men/soldiers with odd titles like 'Black-and-Tans' but the Foreign Irish Republican Army (FIRA) considered these iconic/historic images reflective of the challenge to forge inter-religious vitality in the United Kingdom as a counter-response.

SINN FEIN: We continue to hold our sacred funerals for executed members of protests with people like Gerry Adams.

One of the 'captains' of the Foreign Irish Republican Army (FIRA) is Amlan Satan, an Algerian-American scholar of capitalism management in Third World countries and hopes to apply his guerrilla-training to this newfound world-mission to treat this division between the world's two dominant denominations of the Christian faith (Catholicism and Protestantism) as a flag for post-9/11 Western civilization perfect media attention and reform. He's a real nerd!

POINTE (Emilia): The Foreign Irish Republican Army are men/women in masks for Halloween with weapons.

BELFAST GAZETTE: The use of Belfast Royal-Mail trucks as explosive guerrilla media attention is creating capitalism worries.

FIRA: We'll be blowing up a stream of Royal-Mail trucks after dragging out the drivers as they drive to Palace Barracks.

UK MAGAZINE: The recent string of guerrilla explosions in Royal-Mail trucks near Palace Barracks in Belfast is now media.

The fire-show theater for Halloween generated by the ingenious Foreign Irish Republican Army was complemented by the bomb placed in a Belfast pub after closing-hours, when all staff and security were gone, a pub where off-duty British police-military in Northern Ireland frequented with their wives and families and friends.

Meanwhile, more agents of FIRA were positioned along with standard guerrilla forces of the already-established N-IRA near highway roads so police-military vehicles tracking the Royal-Mail trucks targeted were impaired with special guns loaded with acid and aimed at the tires, derailing them and allowing the guerrillas to flee into the off-road forests.

BELFAST GAZETTE: Hopefully this 'mail-message' of the Foreign Irish Republican Army can compel Parliament for media-talk.

MCGUIRE (Mary): I'm stationed by the Foreign Irish Republican Army to explode a construction site where chemical weapons are developed for the British army in Belfast, as a distracting fake hippie-protest (after post-hour security personnel are removed at gunpoint and driven away from the site by Satan).

SATAN (Amlan): We've seen many images of Irish Republican Army men in Belfast creating community garrisons, and we knew they needed this 'worldly aid' from foreign sources to create more Western spotlights on the notion that the Irish-Catholic minority don't have to feel completely isolated despite comprising one of the two dominant denominations of the world Christian community; this is just really a media theater, which will hopefully spell the end of Catholic-Protestant violence.

FIRA: We've placed fire-bombs in front of parked British police-military vehicle tires in Belfast with no casualties too.

A liberal Belfast Irish-Catholic journalist called the Foreign Irish Republican Army (FIRA) the modern Western equivalent of the Zapatistas but with an odd but intriguing intellectual touch of non-casualty schemed media cleverness. She won the Pulitzer for her FIRA piece titled Becoming Belfast.

The Pulitzer event was attended by Prince William and Princess Kate who hoped the extra media-touch would prompt Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams to take-over in negotiations with UK Parliament regarding Ireland's own work with socioeconomic reforms in Belfast to end the crime created by poverty/unemployment.

FIRA: We've created a 'night-light' imagination for the people of Northern Ireland, in the grand United Kingdom.

Satan and his fellow FIRA members flew back to the United States and enjoyed a November classic college-football game between the Fightin' Irish of Notre Dame and Colorado.

SATAN: I've post an anonymous 'evil elf' drawing on the Belfast-net to inspire more youthful inter-religious commercial coops!

The post was quite popular and an Irish-American celebrity remarked that Catholics and Protestants in Christmastime-Belfast would celebrate some much-needed time with shared commercial space, thinking ahead about the media 'shape' of Northern Ireland life itself!

FIRA: Maybe our deeds will inspire artists to generate some lively images/artworks about comic book like good humor.

UK MAGAZINE: The indeed inspired comics art in modern Northern Ireland has generated some chatter in Parliament!

SATAN: I'm keeping a classic 20th Century comic book strip about Northern Ireland in my Notre Dame library.

BELFAST GAZETTE: Hopefully, this'll all be for Catholic-Protestant schoolchildren at peace.

SINN FEIN: We hope commercial thinking will end the violence directed at civilians in Northern Ireland who just want to watch TV and cheer on Western activity/sports in this modern era of great globalized media.

A famous Irish-American baseball player tweeted, "The Foreign Irish Republican Army" had people talking about mail, baseball-cards, supermarket curry, and of course, Catholic-Protestant cease-fires.
