Calendar Folk: The D-Cure

Calendar Folk: The D-Cure

A Story by Abishai100
"

A canonical feature of a psyche-sage whose cyber-matrix work in modern times reflects an inter-religious focus on civilization depression.

"
A treatise on the psyche behind civilization-matrix claustrophobia, inspired loosely by Se7en. Hope you like it (it's my final one!),

Looking at Manhattan reminds us of this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11, when anti-American terrorists destroyed the commerce-symbolic World Trade Center in NYC. We think of iconic photos/images of the idyllic US city of Manhattan now and we collect photos/images as if they're part of a mental/spiritual 'yearbook' of daydreams...or regrets!

PSYCHOLOGIST: This is the era of coordinating moving mental mosaics of mythical magical imagery surrounding us in cities.

The nerdist capitalism-analyst and political-psychologist Amlan Satan is studying the phenomenon of ethnic culture iconography in this modern era of American photo-sensory marketing (e.g., Facebook).

SATAN: I've been using images collected off the Internet of varied individuals, ranging from priests to terrorists.

Why shouldn't Amlan be fascinated with this speculative investigation on the psyche-quality of imagery-collections in this era of media and Internet and mass online photo-sharing? He can find images of terror and violence and police-force in inter-religion conflict zones like Belfast, Northern Ireland (United Kingdom)!

Amlan begins to compose his photo-mosaics into a fabric online for cyber-punk art reflecting a political psychology of capitalism traffic consciousness (e.g., Mad Money, Wall Street, etc.).

SATAN: It's almost like during this Coronavirus quarantine-mask tribulation of media-money, I'm sculpting a 'calendar' dream!

Is Satan (Amlan) right? Is this the prototypical era/age of photo-toystores? Are we collecting/sculpting mosaics of life-extracted paper-money?

SATAN: I've been collecting images of Belfast police securing areas where Catholic-Protestant schisms represent raw hell!

Is Amlan Satan like Thomas Nast...Dr. Seuss...or Sigmund Freud? He presents himself online in his cyber-mosaics as a 'pirate' intellectual of this modern social-matrix imagination of traffic depression...and vigilantism!

Needless to say his, cyber-mosaic images of photo-folk re-present a modernism view of the tangible imagination behind sculpted Freudian access to a Hitchcock-like curiosity or wonder about veiled securities in this new era of widespread terrorism!

SATAN: When people go on Facebook, they seek to escape the madness of this traffic-destabilizing terrorism imagination.

CRITIC: I think Dr. Satan is giving us a sort of 'puzzle-box' game for the evaluation of real modern civilization deformities.

However much that may be accurate, Satan's 'Calendar-Folk' cure to this dystopian-depression cure or 'D-Cure' may symbolize a human yearning to find doses of pedestrian sanity in this modern environment of ingested mass-consumerism oriented globalized media crossing. It's like a board-game for mental patients.

SATAN: Sometimes, in great irony, this sort of macro-matrix dissection yields incredible forms of basic human elation/sex.

Then again, maybe it just creates forms of basic human juvenile fascination with the simple and odd nature of celebrity!

DR. SATAN: I doubt my work simply reveals a human vulnerability to photo-sharing indulgence but rather a innocence-IQ.

CRITIC: If this Coronavirus media era has taught us anything, it's that mass-consumerism is equated to folk-medicine.

Dr. Satan's wife insists he's been looking too deeply into the simple 'leviathan' or 'red dragon' of photographic depression!

DR. SATAN: Actually, the work that I do gives me personal satisfaction and sometimes great sensory stimulation...American.

Does America possess the intellectual-property rights to this modern 'matrix' of lifestyle-based media-dogma?

SATAN: We've all seen images of men in lines and in uniforms, but how do they parallel our modern image of obedience?

FAN: I like Satan's work and compare it to Pan's Labyrinth, since it suggests a sensitivity towards socialized governance.

DR. SATAN: My wife is suspicious I've found a cyber-fan, a sexy woman, with whom I'm engaged in adultery or something.

WIFE: That's a rumor; I think he's a comic book artist and doubt he's finding sexy gals to indulge this Freudian play!

It's true that Satan's matrix-art is akin to a medicinal approach to the human civilization tendency to suffer depression from forms of socialized or mass streamlined governance-related cadence. Why'd he betray such a light?

SATAN: If England gave us Elizabeth, maybe America helped us crystallize the dynamics of Peter Pan!

SINN FEIN: For our movement in Irish-Catholic politics to reach American media, we need more images of the human psyche!

CRITIC: Is the work of Dr. Satan an ironic 'dark' form of dystopia-exploitation, not unlike black-face theater dark days?

SATAN: There's nothing wrong with being a 'collector' of capitalism's religion.
