Sydney is a great place to live, and the University of Sydney (Australia) is where a pair of professors meet and fall in love.

Amidst the Coronavirus-tribulation, the Sydney-U professors made photo-mosaics of young people (Aussies) getting vaccinated in the city.

The University of Sydney is considered a top-notch continental school, and the two professors in love there now love to work/study there.

The professors who're in love are both doing research on politics in India and Ireland following partition from the British Empire and chat in the cafeteria sometimes with their poly-sci students about the impact of radical sociopolitical transformations in nation-states. Their students make them feel smart and ironically spice their love-affair, really.

The professors of poly-sci at Sydney-U are Amlan Satan and Shelbye Connors. They're both in their late 30s and consider their study/work impactful and reflective of modern globalization-theory studies. They're both respected Australian professors, though neither are originally from Australia. Satan's from Algeria.

Shelbye's from Northern Ireland. She fell in love with Amlan who had much to talk about in regards to Algerian/Indian political transformations following independence from colonial rule in the 20th Century, which is really why she originally fell in love with him at Sydney-U!

AMLAN: I made you a portrait of you basking in sunlight by windows in dyed blonde hair, daydreaming about Utopia and escape from politics.

SHELBYE: I gifted Satan this Valera book about India/Ireland for Valentine's Day --- before the Nuclear Tribulation.

North Korea declared war on Western allies of capitalism which included Australia and dropped a huge bomb on Australia, though Sydney was spared mostly. However, this trauma caused Amlan and Shelbye to drift apart, since they differed now on real religious views, since Amlan supported war with North Korea in this 20th-anniversary year of 9/11.

Shelbye married a Sydney policeman named Robert, and years later, Amlan ran into her and her husband at a Target department-store and shook Robert's hand and congratulated him for his great fortunes, and then he secretly shed a tear for losing Connors to this more conservative man.

AMLAN: I spend nights (Saturdays) drinking Pina Coladas in my Coronavirus mask and watching exotic dancers in a Sydney night-club.

Was Amlan a romance-victim of the Great Tribulation era of post-9/11 humanity scars like the Coronavirus experience and the Nuclear Tribulation? He lost Shelbye Connors. He finds solace writing diaries while watching these exotic dancers in masks perform in the Sydney night-club at which he's now considered a regular 'doll' patron.
