A civilization politics vignette referencing a fantastic folk video-game 'warrior-avatar' named Bo' Rai Cho (Mortal Kombat X). I think my readers will really like this one (signing off!),

Life is a game of strategy and sometimes intellectual warfare, reflected in various real-life board-games depicting the analytics behind the alignment/arrays of ranked power-position combatants (e.g., Stratego), which re-present civilization imagination about the nature of defense and offense, as is required in many cases in real-life civilization problems such as sectarian (Catholic-Protestant) conflicts.

Now, Bo' Rai Cho happens to be a master chess-player and martial-arts cyber-warrior who's adopted the philosophy/rhetoric of an Earth civilization world group known loosely as the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' (FIRA), which works as guerrilla-intelligence infiltrators to hijack transport vehicles smuggling in 'blood-diamonds' (warlord-mined gems from Africa/Europe used to finance crimes!) to already-troubled Belfast (Northern Ireland), vehicles often secured by corrupt official escort-machinery. This work of FIRA is intended to promote overground/legal commerce-reforms in troubled sectarian Northern Ireland, where the Irish-Catholic minority population living alongside a British-Protestant majority population (descended from generations of English colonial settlers!) and anxious about socioeconomic conditions like unemployment of the under-class. FIRA and Bo' Rai Cho sabotage this blood-diamond piracy so overground commercial reforms like affirmative-action employment policies by UK Parliament and Sinn Fein will dissuade the impoverished/unemployed young men of Belfast from turning to a life of financed piracy-crimes, linked to blood-diamond traffic. Bo' Rai Cho is therefore a cyber-prince and guardian of Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) economics/reforms and democracy and works for inter-religious commerce bridges between Dublin-Belfast catering to a healthy capitalism on Earth and is known therefore as a 'warrior' of anti-sectarian peace.

Bo' Rai Cho works with FIRA for many years and is considered a highly-valued member of this new world group on Earth. He links various Irish mythology totems/diadems like fortune-symbolic pots-'o-gold to the shine of capitalism in human civilization and calculates/analyzes the contours of commerce-driven peace bridges between Catholics-Protestants living together in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). He's now fighting for the honor of such 'gold' in a special 'Mortal Kombat X' fighting-tournament in a fantastic faraway dimension called Outworld where fantasy meets intuition. He has to think like a 'strategic' defender of commercial values and remembers his training in both martial arts and Stratego board-games as he butts heads and hearts and muscles and wits with other Mortal Kombat X warriors in Outworld to hype the democratic value of his dance-symbolic gold pot from Northern Ireland!

Bo' Rai Cho has composed a special 'warrior-avatar' banner for this work with the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' (FIRA or F-IRA) and hopes to showcase it to the warriors in Outworld to boast about his underground guerrilla-intelligence work with direct strikes on threats to commerce-bridges to peace in Northern Ireland and the final end to sectarian violence, negotiated by groups like Sinn Fein and UK Parliament in civilization! He's a real nerdist...or artist!

Bo' Rai Cho, the prince of FIRA, has to debate with a female warrior-princess in Outworld who competes regularly in the Mortal Kombat X tournaments. She is Kitana, a blade-fan wielding super-assassin who knows the ins-and-outs of social civility/customs and argues with the FIRA-prince about the nature of strategic combat in the defense of civilization 'problems' like sectarian violence (e.g., Catholic-Protestant conflicts in Belfast created by socioeconomic frustrations/angst!). Kitana tells Bo' Rai Cho he's become a mind-shark of Northern Ireland calculations and needs to think more about the 'hearts' of men (and women!).

Bo' Rai Cho then contends and debates with the Outworld warrior Kung Lao, a master of decapitation and explains to him the long and sad history of violence between Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom), since the partition of mainland Catholic Ireland (capital: Dublin) in the 20th Century. Bo' Rai Cho explains to Kung Lao that his work as a FIRA prince in civilization re-presents an intuition regarding the agility and wits involved with direct agency for inter-religious labors and governance, conducive to real talks with Parliament and ministers of peace. Kung Lao understand/appreciates all this and suggests Bo' Rai Cho wishes to compete in the Mortal Kombat X tourney as a diplomat/emissary of the 'strategy' of inter-religious body balancing. He anticipates a great competition-stance from Bo and Bo learns Kung Lao is a true master of combat-dance.

Bo' Rai Cho then talks with the Outworld female-warrior Cassie Cage who appreciates his diplomacy regarding FIRA in Outworld and for the Mortal Kombat X [MKX] tournament but wonders why he won't fight for himself, like so many other 'mercenaries' engaged in this type of tournament. Bo' Rai Cho explains he's fallen-in-love with the metaphysics of Western civilization inter-religious labors regarding governance promoting commercial roads to the end of sectarian violence, and Cassie Cage tells him she hopes to see Bo compete very handsomely in the actual tournament. She suggests that Bo debate with the female MKX warrior Scarlet, a messenger of real anarchy and warfare and the 'beauty' of governance. Bo realizes Cassie Cage was a true guidance-counselor in Outworld.

BO: I shall converse with Scarlet, as Cassie Cage advised, but first I must depose my first tourney-challenger, Leatherace, with quick splashes of right-minded tactical dance.

BO: Perhaps I should be a freelance mercenary as Cassie Cage recommended!
SCARLET: Well, you seem 'swept-away' by all this Northern Ireland guerrilla-mission.
BO: I am, indeed!
SCARLET: Well, perhaps you're a wandering-soul looking for the 'method' of civilization intelligence.
BO: Me thinks you're correct!
SCARLET: What did you want to ask me then?
BO: Well, should I have a queen at my side...such as yourself, lovely Scarlet?
SCARLET: You strike me as a man of political passions, and you're not a lover-by-nature, so I can't accept.
BO: I see.
SCARLET: Perhaps you might do well to serve as a 'champion courtier' of Northern Ireland diadems, instead!
BO: That sounds promising, I suppose.
SCARLET: You sound dissapointed.
BO: I was hoping for an 'Irish lady-of-luck' at my side for this civilization mission!
SCARLET: Perhaps you should focus on the combat-tourney and serving as more of a 'knight' than husband.
BO: Me thinks you're correct!
SCARLET: Why, are you lonely in spirit, Bo?
BO: All this underground-intelligence has made my heart feel somewhat cold.
SCARLET: That's the true nature of political complexity in civilization.
BO: That's why I'm re-presenting such contours in this Outworld combat tourney!
SCARLET: Yes, I suppose the acrobatics of this type of combat symbolizes civilization resilience.
BO: Well, I suppose I may continue in this mission/tourney as a 'knight' of letters and humbled courtship.
SCARLET: You can always admire the romance of others while pursuing your single-minded cause for politics.
BO: I suppose I may become a 'chaperone' of the total-drama of civilization designs and dogma.
SCARLET: You may then be looked upon as a true courtier of the romance you actually can bear.
BO: That's humbling, indeed.
SCARLET: Not all men/fighters are destined for true love.
BO: I suppose I'm a man of the 'Foreign Irish Republican Army' in civilization, then!
SCARLET: Some men are destined for lonely missions of guerrilla-strategy, while others enjoy marital passions.
BO: Yes.
SCARLET: Hey, look on the bright side; you're a 'cool' boyfriend, Bo.

Bo realized that while his FIRA diplomacy for the Outworld tourney in combat could indeed re-present the civilization ergonomics of Northern Ireland complexity and guerrilla-strategy/intelligence, he'd have to forsake the merits of human passion and friendship, in this somewhat destined 'lonely' crusade for the benefit of others who'd anticipate the fortunes incurred by what Bo was actually good at doing --- chess/warfare. He'd have to think more as a 'solitary man' when he pined for the sane magic of love and passion which he'd glimpsed when he met all these incredible female warriors in Outworld. He was humbled but nevertheless charged for the tournament and was fortunate just to be a 'boyfriend' to a civilization of emotion-driven angels.

When Bo returned to Earth, he was once again a human man in shape and stature, named Amlan Satan. He continued his guerrilla-intelligence work with FIRA and continued to court women as merely a 'knight' or 'boyfriend' rather than a husband or Casanova, as Scarlet had advised him shrewdly! He decided his mission in life as a 'FIRA courtier' would comprise the labors of solitary meditation and Stratego-like magic. He remained a 'nerdist' of civilization.

Amlan (Bo) met a gorgeous young lady in Belfast, a Catholic librarian, named Shelbye and told her of his Outworld fantasy-adventure and his 'debate' with the female-warrior Scarlet. She realized he was a man of great imagination but child-like thinking regarding 'sane' life on Earth. However, Amlan remembered the other half of Scarlet's advice and refrained from reaching out to Shelbye with an offer of marriage, realizing his destiny was one of solitary knighthood and instead offered to be her 'boyfriend' at any time she deemed was customary or charming or courtly. Shelbye was impressed with his overall sense of objective self-awareness regarding his limits of not being a Casanova. She eventually decided to leave Belfast and became a very successful fashion-model in NYC. Amlan (Bo) never forgot her, however!

AMLAN: My princely-estate is a lonely castle in Switzerland, but I shall think of my mission work in Belfast as earned.

Amlan (Bo) was buried alongside the only true 'love-matches' he'd had in his life --- animal pals. He was laid in a cemetery neighboring that of a pet cemetery and on his tombstone read, "FIRA courtier, solitary knight of the United Kingdom, and friend to his animal-spirits on Earth."

What few people knew or got to know was that Amlan Satan was an 'avid fan' of Peter Pan and considered the spritely sword-adventures of the 'flying-boy' of myth in Europe/Disney as a reflection of the civilization acrobatics involved with real labors of governance creativity. He died a solitary man thinking of what Peter Pan gave to the universe --- a sense of liberty.

SCARLET: Bo will be remembered (I think) as a messenger of real dogma, but he departed sadly as a solitary devil.
