![]() ==== Peter Pan is the flying-boy of the fantastic adventure-land called Neverland, soaring to great sword-dagger adventures with his band of merry friends called the Lost Boys, which of course includes enchanted girls and young women from the world of Earth like Wendy and her family-kids. The Lost Boys and Peter Pan wager a daring war of valor against the diabolical hook-armed Pirate named Hook in Neverland. Captain Hook is a dangerous adversary who brings terrible messages of fascism and power-pyramids to Neverland, requiring the valiant and daring flying-boy Peter Pan to create unusual coordination of imagination/insight. Currently, Peter Pan is reaching out to Earth civilization from which Wendy and her family-kids are drawn, and he's creating fantastic democracy-choreography regarding human society dilemmas such as sectarian violence between Catholics-Protestants in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). CAPTAIN HOOK: I shall pit this flying Peter Pan in a ditch of depression regarding Earth civilization Northern Ireland missions! Northern Ireland was troubled by inter-religious conflict created by socioeconomic disparities between the under-class Irish-Catholic minority and British-Protestant majority population, descended from generations of English colonial settlers. This angst between the two dominant denominations of the Earth-world Christian global community created terrible anarchy between the erected resistant 'Irish Republican Army (IRA) and 'Ulster Volunteer Force' (UVF), each representing Catholic-Protestant yearnings in the grand United Kingdom. Peter Pan hoped to serve as a sword-wielding 'musketeer' of this sectarian depression on Earth by defying the fascism of the cunning Captain Hook and his army of shipwrecked evil pirate-sailors on Neverland shores, determined to deliver relentless furious messages of anti-democratic authoritarianism, confining Peter Pan and his defiant male-female 'Lost Boys' team of sword-wielding adventurers to a condition of absolute rebellion. PETER PAN: I simply refuse to believe Hook and his Pirates on Neverland shores have the weaponry/machinery to control us! Peter Pan decides to invade the pirate-ship of Captain Hook by surprise late-at-night with his Lost Boys team of boys-girls and breach the evil sea-fascist's ship dominion of absolute darkness. They usurp the general 'sanity' of Hook's pirate-ship and turn over the drums of oil and light them on fire before Peter Pan himself declares absolute war on Captain Hook. Peter Pan has to debate with the dark Hook and convince him that his unusual mission in Neverland does indeed include the philosophical 'battle' of democratic virtue involving the cures to sectarian anarchy/hellfire on Earth (human civilization) regarding inter-religious socioeconomic angst in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). This symbolic/iconic ship-debate between Pan/Hook is followed immediately by a sword-fencing battle which necessarily includes fantastic thrusts of valor...and detention. PAN: You shall not destroy this Lost-Boys daydream of achieved liberty, Hook! HOOK: We shall see, idealist. PAN: I'm not merely an idealist, Captain Hook, but also a sword-wielding gambler! HOOK: Well, let's determine if 'gambling' achieves real vision of paradise in a world of risk. PAN: Gamblers are veiled imagination-engineers, Hook! HOOK: Are you claiming that your mission on Earth is one of undoubted democracy, Pan? PAN: I'm the flying-boy of governance daydreams, Hook! HOOK: What gives you such daylight regarding civilization labyrinths of labor, Peter Pan? PAN: Why, dancing, of course. HOOK: Dancing, Pan? PAN: There's a strange but undeniable mystical liberty linked to the imagery of music, Captain! HOOK: Music, Peter? PAN: Yes, Hook; for it's music that delivers us from the confines of man-made depression. HOOK: Inter-religious schisms in Earth civilization lands like Northern Ireland re-present real fears. PAN: These fears, Hook, can be 'upstaged' by the advancement of real musicians and engineers. HOOK: What's the 'real' separation-line between music and engineering, Peter Pan? PAN: Don't you understand, Captain? HOOK: Well, then, what is it exactly, Pan? PAN: The border between music and machinery is of course...diaries! HOOK: Are you claiming that 'machinery' of civilization can be 'personalized' with diaries? PAN: Of course! HOOK: How, exactly, Peter? PAN: If we think of machinery as 'arms' of bureaucracy, we find 'shapes' of socialized distances. HOOK: How're 'distances' exactly symbols of civilization optimism, Peter Pan? PAN: Through worldly distances, Captain Hook, we find find the exacting 'wiggle-room' for democracy. HOOK: Machinery can strangle a mind's sense of musical personality, Peter! PAN: You advocate the iron-hand of machinery with your hook-hand, because you're an 'angel' of darkness. HOOK: Aren't there diaries in darkness? PAN: Not for us Lost-Boys and crusaders of dictionaries! HOOK: Dictionaries, Peter? PAN: It's in the 'dictionary' of civilization, Hook, that we may discover the daybreak of distances. HOOK: You're a dramatist! ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) ![]() © 2021 Abishai100 |
