Irish Mail*

A romance-politics dot of a real James Bond searching for mail-dreams of courtship...and diamonds.

A political 'romance' inspired both by the Western modern films Green Card and The Saint and asks the modern question, "Can love be a 'thing' of distance?"

Amlan Satan (code-name: Storm-Shadow) lives in Boston (North America) as a guerrilla-intelligence infiltrations-operationalist with Interpol-relations intercepting blood-diamond piracy highways between Vancouver and Belfast, taking blood-diamond safe-boxes owned by corrupt barons.

STORM-SHADOW: I've built a handsome fortune in the Americas and want to find a nice Irish mail-order-bride.

Storm-Shadow (Amlan) studied at Dartmouth and is versed in political paradigm parallel works regarding economics addressing of governance reorientation subjects in East/West nations (e.g., India/Ireland).

As the Interpol-relations and 'FIRA' operative Storm-Shadow, Satan works sometimes as a diamond-smugglers vehicles interceptor-hijacker as well as bank-robber of blood-diamond safe-boxes, using theatrical costumes/masks to perform underground missions for the subversion of baron diamond spheres stretching between two continents in the West.

Ironically, he keeps his own personals/valuables (bonds, assets, diamonds, baseball-cards) in a Boston safe-box, which he hopes his adversaries/nemeses can't get to, since he shuffles around the actual safe-box container/number every year. He's a real-life James Bond.

STORM-SHADOW: I want to play a different kind of game now, one involving Irish courtship and the romance of imagination!

So, Amlan logs onto a fun mail-order-bride site to find a nice Irish-Catholic woman who might stir his interests in a life of peace in his post-Bond career, and he's choosing between 'candidates' of loveliness from Belfast (Northern Ireland) where new age affirmative-action employment assistance program policy reform talks between groups like Sinn Fein and Parliament catalyze new overground societal forms of market/net-media and commerce...and romence.

STORM-SHADOW: I'm looking towards more enjoyable mail in my box in Boston from romance-angels from Northern Ireland.

He likes to make comic book doodle-drawings, color-pencil stick-figures, of colorful 'avatars' signifying his newfound fascination with society-wandering imaginations and romance. He's come up with various characters re-presenting a social curiosity about the 'grip' of capitalism's more light-hearted face in North America!

STORM-SHADOW: I've rendered a comic book romance-duo for a more appealing presentation of romance sought by insight.

Some 'candidates' from troubled/complicated Belfast have answered Storm-Shadow's call and are on Aer Lingus flights to meet with Satan (Amlan) in the US city of Boston, Massachusetts now.

SHELBYE: I want a more peaceful/sane life in Boston (America), and Mr. Satan seems like a 'dashing' bachelor-of-fortune!

CANDICE: I'm simply looking for a nicer 'window' into a life of fortune and happiness in America, and Amlan's very nice.

STORM-SHADOW: When these Irish-mail 'candidates' see my romance-artworks, they'll get an idea of my desire for peace.

He makes his new romance-candidates special Irish dishes in Boston as they determine if he's the 'right Mr. Right' to leave behind an economically-confusing life in Northern Ireland (UK). The Irish curries Amlan's been making seem to give an air of sweet success...and sanity.

STORM-SHADOW (Amlan): I took Shelbye to a pier-spot in Boston, and I think she'll like my love of the water in the city!

CANDICE: I had no idea a mysterious 'working-man' of America (Boston) can boast such a 'demo' living arrangement.

STORM-SHADOW: I doubt these courtship-candidates will find my apartment 'secret-files' containing images of diamond-hell.

Can James Bond get married? Will Satan find romance amidst this civilization-turbulence of overwhelming political intrigue cluttering up visions of peace/sanity? Perhaps Storm-Shadow is a real 'saint' of romance, but perhaps his 'Irish-mail' dream will render him a surprising perfume of true modern...dowries.
