Bo/Skarlet: The Reno Wager (Tragic Romance)

Two Outworld warriors (male/female) travel to Earth-realm to visit Reno and engage in a distancing romance-wager.

Reno (Nevada) is a place of lights and capital, an alternative to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, which is why it's sometimes affable referred to as the Biggest Little City in the World.

Bo' Rai Cho is a combat-prince from another dimension called Outworld, where he competes magnificently as the prince-warrior of martial arts and biochemical magic! Bo's decided to wander into Earth-realm and visit the city of Reno (the 'Biggest Little City in the World') and seek romance/marriage with a prospective female bachelorette who happens to be playing the Reno casino-games during his special clandestine 'alien' visit.

Bo becomes the Algerian-American inheritor-prince of fortune named Amlan Satan, a real-life James Bond who works with blood-diamond infiltrations in sectarian-troubled Northern Ireland (UK). He's claiming he's on vacation and takes a trip to Reno in his newly-purchased Saab auto.

What Bo' Rai Cho ('Amlan Satan') doesn't know yet in Reno is that the Outworld female warrior-princess Skarlet has also (following) traveled to Earth-realm to play a disguised human-woman named Ophelia and is also visiting Reno (the 'Biggest Little City in the World') to test Bo's faith and mettle in this special 'Reno Wager' he's about to cast with a magical proposition of romance/marriage. Skarlet ('Ophelia') is a fiery-woman of great daring and wants to be the 'Devil's Advocate' in this challenging spiritual test the prince-warrior Bo/Amlan is constructing and is therefore seeking to be his minor rival!

Skarlet transforms into the light-spirited Irish-Catholic woman 'Ophelia' and travels to Reno by bus and train and arrives thrilled to be playing the casino-games, hoping to 'catch' Bo' Rai Cho in his altered/disguised human form/visage. 'Ophelia' (Skarlet) wants to come off as free-spirited and romance-indulgent but also to 'test' the prince-warrior Bo' Rai Cho (Amlan Satan) by serving as a real firestarter.

Bo/Amlan arrives in Reno and spots 'Ophelia' (Skarlet) playing roulette at one of the Reno casino-gaming center/buildings and decides her hypnotic charm/beauty/magic makes her the ideal candidate for his special 'Reno Wager' of romance/marriage. He walks up to her and tells her he has a bag full of magical gems, toy diamonds, which he'll gift to her if she accepts his special/magical 'proposition' of marriage/romance. Ophelia/Skarlet is now certain Amlan Satan, this charming Algerian-American prince of fortune visiting Reno (the 'Biggest Little City in the World') is indeed the prince-warrior Bo' Rai Cho and decides to indeed become the Devil's Advocate and test his spiritual mettle for this little exam. Ophelia tells Amlan she'd love to take a gander at his toy/magical gems or diamonds.

BO (Amlan Satan): I'm charmed you've accepted this personal dare/wager!

SKARLET (Ophelia): So this is a 'dare' and not a proposal of chivalry, Satan?

AMLAN: Call me Amlan...please.
OPHELIA: Oh, sure; well, Amlan; why're you making this daring wager?
AMLAN: I'm lonely is all.
OPHELIA: Really?
AMLAN: I have these great toy gems of magic which I hope to use to court you.
OPHELIA: What if I tell you I'll take this wager...but test your mettle?
AMLAN: I'd start to think you're someone I know from my past...come here to test me.
OPHELIA: Who?
AMLAN: Oh, I dunno; I knew a warrior-princess named Skarlet who's from my 'home town.'
OPHELIA: Your hometown, eh?
AMLAN: So, me thinks you're interested in this Reno-vaunt for romantic escape.
OPHELIA: I suppose so...but I have to ask...why're you looking for 'extra-normal' magic?
AMLAN: I told you...I'm lonely!
OPHELIA: If you weren't 'lonely' or something, would you still be eager for such an imagination?
AMLAN: I suppose I might not be, but isn't that part of the intrigue of such a proposition?
OPHELIA: What'd you mean?
AMLAN: Well, Ophelia, I mean...aren't you considering my 'chivalry' because I'm lonely?
OPHELIA: I suppose that's a consideration, natural in the female brain!
AMLAN: That's what I mean...I want to see if I can woo you with charm rather than wealth!
OPHELIA: So, you're very wealthy?
AMLAN: I'm a 'wizard' of fortunes.
OPHELIA: I think I might just be that 'firebrand' mystery-woman from your home town or past, Satan.
AMLAN: Yes, well, I can tell you, I thought you might be a woman I knew named Skarlet.
OPHELIA: What if I was?
AMLAN: Our 'proposition' in this Reno Wager would not be affected, Ophelia.
OPHELIA: Why's that?
AMLAN: Well, this 'Biggest Little City in the World' can inspire forms of dowries!
OPHELIA: Me thinks, Amlan that you're a 'prince' of fortune-meddling, Satan.

AMLAN: I will determine if this Reno Wager illuminates this courtship (and you!) as a wellspring of dance.

OPHELIA: You're so...idealistic.

AMLAN: Me thinks you are indeed Skarlet...because you seem so darn...damaging.
