Ice-Brothers!

Ice-Brothers!

A Story by Abishai100
"

Two amazing ice-hockey pals are also Robin Hood thieves of blood-diamond barons corrupting New York...and may find dyes!

"
A toast to all the dance that is ice-hockey (who doesn't love sports/media?), inspired loosely by the amazing Western film Miracle (Kurt Russell).

Two college buddies from North America, both members of the American ice-hockey team, celebrate all the fanfare and dazzle and beauty-magic of the modern ice-game, and they're thinking about their double-life as blood-diamond infiltration-agents (master thieves!) but for the moment relish in the limelight that is ice-hockey glamour.

These 'ice-brothers' are Amlan (Algerian-American) and Marcus (Finnish-American) and play ice-hockey in New York. They're part of a 1-2 scoring punch for the Islanders and hope to get their team all the way to the Cup finals this year.

The ice-brothers are also bank-robbers. They rob bank safe-boxes in Northeast America belonging to corrupt barons storing blood-diamonds from Sierra Leone and threatening gem-market monitors worked by Interpol-relations. The ice-brothers are masked notorious Robin Hood characters who're portrayed in fanzines as modern-day Sundance Kids.

AMLAN: We grew up playing Islanders ice-hockey games on the Playstation and Nintendo!
MARCUS: We're huge fans of what makes ice-hockey such a swift/dance-game of pure teamwork and targeting.

There's truly a magical element of ice-hockey fanfare in North America, and the fans/cheerleaders and all the spectators consider this great continental pastime a social symbol of sportsman recreational activity, and everyone likes a good game before a night out at TGIF for ribs-and-ale!

AMLAN: We're stealing Baron Goldfinger's blood-diamonds from a New York bank and replacing them with toy gems!
MARCUS: This'll send a ripple in the newspapers about barons taking continental securities-highways for granted.

Meanwhile, the ice-hockey league is full of intrigue, and media-broadcast of pro-games reflect this New York fanfare/spirit. Amlan/Marcus help rally their offensive team to great heights as they down potent rivals from Canada and the USA, hoping to reach the Cup finals where so many celebrity-athletes have received the 'laurels' worth buying.

AMLAN: There's nothing quite as 'American' or continental as ice-hockey diner-talk artwork/imagination.
MARCUS: Yeah; it's like you're taking a slice of the American pie of great socialized glamour...and history!

The 'ice-brothers' march into a New York bank claiming they're costumed theater-actors seeking photos of the bank's safe-box area where the 'famous' Baron Goldfinger keeps his valued $20M gems from Belgium.

When inside the safe-box area, the 'ice-brothers' tell the escorting guardsman (Leo) that he needs to dance in front of the security-camera with his back turned while they take photos of Baron Goldfinger's safe-box and Leo himself. As Leo does so, Amlan uses a lock-pick to open the baron's safe-box and switches his blood-diamonds with the toy-gems in his pocket before smoothly/silently closing the safe-box again!

AMLAN: This was a feat of pure American James Bond (or Robin Hood) work, brother.
MARCUS: Let's return to our ice-hockey arena now and prepare for our next tourney-match!

SPORTS-WITER: The 'ice-brothers' have given New York ice-hockey fans special magic/artwork to cheer for great dollars!

Will the ice-brothers eventually end up leading a life of blood-diamond intrigue or settle for a life of ice-hockey beauty-magic? This is a difficult choice, regardless of where you're from...or what you like to free.

NYPD: We're currently investigating Goldfinger's ties to blood-diamond traffic from Vancouver/Rutgers.

SPORTS-WRITER: The matchup between Boston and New York (ice-hockey) yielded youth folk-tales...and brawls on ice.

AMLAN: It's all worth it for the diamonds in a girl's smile and in a fan's cheers in New York.
MARCUS: Hopefully, ice-hockey will be the signature of our team-spirit someday, brother!

What do you think will become of these glorious (or saintly!) 'ice-brothers' of New York (North America)?
