Amlan Satan has dreamt of moving to the United States someday, to achieve that elusive American Dream and attend a great American college/university. He's an Algerian living in Argentina where he stands out and shines in the U-17 national junior-age soccer league/team and studies the scholarship-process of admissions at America's Duke University, so he can play soccer for the Blue Devils of Duke and obtain that wondrous Ellis Island postcard many immigrants to the USA might put on their refrigerator!

AMLAN SATAN (Immigrant): I'm thinking of getting to the John F. Kennedy (JFK) international-airport in New York to advance!

As part of Argentina's proud U-17 national team (stars not necessarily over the age 17, a youth-league in Argentina), which has boasted great national stars including Veron and Tevez (new millennium!) who shared the Athens Summer Olympics men's soccer gold-medal, Satan (Amlan) hopes to move to the USA and stand out as the 'star-prodigy' soccer immigrant/recruit to Duke University's American Blue Devils soccer team, having provided Duke with the resume regarding his immense laurels in Argentine soccer.

AMLAN SATAN (Immigrant): Argentine soccer fans are among the best if not the best in the world today, since soccer is art!

Moving from Argentina to America has been no small feat for the Algerian citizen of Buenos Aires who'd obtained his sacred 'passport' enabling him to become the US citizen he dreamt of becoming to play for Duke soccer and become a Duke student and perhaps someday an assistant-coach for the US men's national soccer team.

When Amlan arrives in the USA, he wears his protective Coronavirus-mask and begins to prepare to integrate himself into the world of NCAA collegiate soccer for the Duke Blue Devils team.

Satan becomes an instant boon for the Blue Devils and leads the respected men's college soccer team to great heights as they advance and dominate their division and eventually their conference and the tournament of champions and helps Duke reach the NCAA title game, where they'll challenge the #1 ranked Georgetown Hoyas. Amlan's learning that while soccer is an 'art-form' in Europe and South America and Africa, it's more like an 'academic dance' or multi-gender diorama about teamwork-education in the United States, glorifying the subject, the student-athlete, in soccer-fields of design.

DUKE COACH: Satan's put a light-charge into our entire men's soccer team, and it's lifted everyone to greater gifts for games.

He's now an 'NCAA celebrity' after Duke loses the title game to Georgetown but returns the following season to lead Duke to a surprise upset-victory over #1 Georgetown again in what is now considered one of the finest tales of college-champions rematch revenge, and Amlan Satan is nicknamed the 'spider' of college-soccer drama.

AMLAN SATAN (Immigrant): So, I walked into the Bank of South Carolina, now a happy immigrant/citizen, and it was robbed!

It's true; that one particular day near the Duke campus, Satan walked in to open a new citizen's bank account when a masked guerrilla-robber marched in costumed as a maudlin-thief claiming he required media-photos of the bank's safe-box holding rumored 'blood-diamonds' from Sierra Leone belonging to the corrupt capitalism-baron Goldfinger and proceeded to burn a hole into the baron's box and swapped his piracy-gems with toy gems hidden in the soles of his shoes and walked out claiming to the customers/manager (including Amlan Satan), America will not host today's fat-cats seeking to extinguish the laureled 'media-fire' of gem-market declarations.

INTERPOL: Blood-diamond corruption today threatens the world-diamond exchange and makes terrorism woes.

That strange day in the South Carolina bank near Duke's campus, Amlan Satan, the protagonist-immigrant, got a firsthand look at some of the modern 'asset-globalization drama' (blood-diamonds!) linked to American economics/traffic and thanked his stars that he'd made it to the level of the American Dream to play soccer for Duke and stand-out and put his 'record' into the annals of US history immigration excellence.

AMLAN SATAN (Immigrant): I've met a beautiful theater-waitress, and we're getting married and finding sanity in America.

What's the highlight of this offbeat immigration-tale? Is it Amlan Satan's midfielder-scoring and offense swiftness that propelled Duke to the national title and avenge its loss to Georgetown? Is it Amlan's personal quest to find sanity and sentiment (and true love!) in the United States having left his land of birth, Argentina, despite his Algerian heritage/roots?
