The Red Fairy*A Story by Abishai100An offbeat magic-tale of a Western academic and guerrilla-analyst whose newfound curiosity about fairies brings him closer to dancing.
A civilization spy-glass vignette inspired loosely by the iconic mysticism-film Photographing Fairies. Thanks for reading (and Happy Christmas!),

==== A special/iconic New England Ivy League School called Dartmouth saw a lot of idyllic photogenic snow one winter and that's why a special/pensive capitalism professor named Amlan Satan (code-name: Storm-Shadow) was busy with calculations about Earth-wrought mysticism/magic and considered his work at Dartmouth somehow divine. ![]() AMLAN SATAN (Storm-Shadow): I hope to translate some mysticism-comics into real-world imagery about living divinity! ![]() Storm-Shadow is a nerdist of capitalism-geometry and works alongside the underground group known as the Friends of Humanity (FOH). He's busy now studying 'fairy-folklore' and mythology from Europe and how it links to capitalism-intellectualism in Western civilization. ![]() He's been an 'avid fan' of civilization totems/diadems like the Apple Macintosh (wood-edition) and why such 'magic toys' may reflect a human fascination with the shape/feel of living capitalism. From these understandings, Storm-Shadow (Amlan Satan) is able to derive special ideas/comics about fairy-iconography with dynamics-analytics. ![]() AMLAN SATAN (Storm-Shadow): I'm keeping a 'red fairy' Golem at my Dartmouth office while writing about my voyage. ![]() Storm-Shadow was given his field-alias by the Friends of Humanity for his guerrilla-analysis of veiled capitalism-resource motions and invisible guerrilla-politics (e.g., blood-diamond piracy tracks!). He's at a New England cafe determining why/how a 'red fairy' comic book folk-tale (iconography) would translate into a special capitalism tale like The Wolf of Wall Street (Leo DiCaprio). ![]() Just then, Storm-Shadow spots a Mortal Kombat (video-game club) female model (costumed!) walk into that New England cafe dressed as the fictional 'cyber-warrior' Sareena and he immediately has to notice she almost perfectly resembles his Dartmouth office 'red fairy' Golem-figurine! He walks up to this woman, her name is Shelbye, and finds out she's into fairy literature and mythology as well as Richie Rich comics. ![]() AMLAN: So, how'd you become involved with fairy fables, Shelbye? SHELBYE: It's all started with special readings of Richie Rich comics about heroics! AMLAN: I've been studying fairy-iconography and relevance to civilization at Dartmouth. SHELBYE: So? AMLAN: You perfectly resemble a 'red fairy' Golem-figurine I keep in my Dartmouth office! SHELBYE: Maybe you've become disillusioned/obsessed with ideas about wrought revolution. AMLAN: Maybe you're my ideal 'damsel' for my new academic work/journalism with 'sword' dollars! ![]() Storm-Shadow (Amlan Satan) spent the next few years making American Civil War dioramas at Dartmouth and married Shelbye whom he was convinced was actually/secretly the 'red' red-fairy, having come into his newfound life to add spice/dimension to his civilization-magic work. His Civil War dioramas re-presented his intention to apply mysticism to civilization studies. ![]() AMLAN SATAN (Storm-Shadow): I'm studying Eastern mysticism iconography to see if Shelbye and I liken to deities of dogma! ![]() Is there 'really' magic to modern civilization? Are fairies really real? Did our Friends of Humanity guerrilla-analyst (Storm-Shadow) unwittingly 'marry' a real 'red-fairy' who 'came into his life' to add spice/dimension to his civilization-studies? Perhaps all of this seems true when we think of the general 'diaries' of civilization detention. ![]() STORM-SHADOW (Diary): I'm 50 now, happily married with 3 children; and I'm convinced for sure that Shelbye's the red fairy. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
