Autumn-Fire: Seton Hall [Jabberwocky]

A mysterious 'visitor' colors an otherwise already-complex Seton Hall (NJ/USA) autumn season of sports, anarchy, and dust.

Amlan and Marcus are two soldiers working for Weyland space-exploration company and are currently off-duty serving as teachers/coaches of the Seton Hall men's soccer team in New Jersey (USA).

They teach a joint-class on English literature at Seton Hall and examine the social impact of classical symbolism on modern civilization, focusing on eschewed-logic 'avatars' such as the iconic Jabberwocky (Lewis Carroll) who represents our natural fascination with finding the 'other side' of sanity in times of great complexity, even when such thinking is private or divine.

As the coaches of the Seton Hall men's soccer team, the two teacher/coaches off-duty from Weyland Company are enjoying hoisting their lauded team to great laurels this autumn season in New Jersey (USA), as Seton Hall looks to challenge/defeat a heavy rival in Xavier in October, the Halloween season in America.

AMLAN: We're wary of the mischief/anarchy of 'Devil's Night' near campus, which falls right before Halloween Eve.

MARCUS: We've to be sure that social streets are sane for the Seton Hall games despite all this 'autumn fire' of revelry!

This is a time of great media/commerce and social broadcast oriented networking/entertainment. Capitalism/consumerism is more or less global, and the flyers of money resemble the cosmetics of a 'living' theater, almost as if America has become a 'civilization' of designed dreams!

When Devil's Night comes to New Jersey, the residential areas near the Seton Hall campus see various forms of anarchy and hellraising among juveniles and young adults frolicking in the 'autumn fire' of American dance and pre-Halloween jitters, which makes this seem like an Earth-time of symbolic shapes, and Seton Hall soccer is nearly eclipsed if not neglected entirely.

However, this 'good Earth' is about to receive a new form of hellraiser in an alien from another planet who arrives stealthily in an invisibility-cloaked spaceship and docks in the Pine Barrens forests of New Jersey and sets up camp to prepare for his highly-calculated reign of hunting-and-murder in a sport-for-kill invasion of our planet right around the Seton Hall campus during the Halloween season, and it's only Devil's Night now.

This alien calls itself the Predator and resembles a deformed Rastafarian with his dreadlocks made of wires and wields an electrocutioner's staff and throwing circular blades capable of adequate decapitation. He proudly declares his invisible invasion on a New Jersey building rooftop near the Seton Hall campus and it'd be a miracle to stop this Predator now.

AMLAN: We've got word from Weyland about this 'predator' lurking near Seton Hall and received laser-guns!

MARCUS: We'll zoom around the Seton Hall area with these guns and try to 'zap' the 'predator' in a blaze of magic!

When Amlan/Marcus report to Weyland they've successfully burned the Predator alive with their laser-gun induced explosions, the space-exploration company congratulates them and informs them further they've discovered the hunting-alien's landed/hidden spaceship in the Pine Barrens, bringing an end to this very 'discreet' Devil's Night near the peaceful Seton Hall campus (USA).

Soon thereafter, an iconic comic book publisher creates a series of post-Halloween tales about this 'Predator' who's genomics are now being assessed by Weyland Company, and they celebrate the folk-tale that two unknown soldiers (Amlan/Marcus) were behind this 'humanoid stand' against an invading 'creature' of immortal proportions, and all this comes right on the heels of Seton Hall's awesome triumph over Xavier (soccer).

WEYLAND: We've no doubt this 'Jabberwocky' shall serve a template for future studies of universal civilization distancing.

A critic of Seton Hall claims on the Internet in a controversial blog, presenting himself as the 'Devil's Advocate' online, that he's ready to denounce any modern-era rhetoric regarding 'divinity' ideas of civilization retribution and that the mysterious/unknown 'Predator' creature may only serve as a 'human sign' of things to come for our universe's sense of darkened distances. What will be the future?
