G-Town Fairies: A Soccer Chase!

A magical fairy-tale of 'unlikely heroes' in a soccer-maze and challenging a diamond-baron in a Georgetown contest of distance.

A modest but very fun fairy-tale 'modern adaptation' about wrought democracy in times of great civilization corruption, inspired very loosely by the adventurous/romantic film Fairy Tale: A True Story. Enjoy!

Amlan Satan is a soccer coach and Interpol-relations blood-diamond analyst working at Georgetown University.

He collects stained-glass art and images of beautiful caterpillars transforming into even more beautiful butterflies!

AMLAN SATAN: I like Georgetown in DC for what it offers me (and the world!) a sense of spacious intelligence.

Amlan keeps in his care a lovely gypsy-orphan girl named Esmerelda whom he rescued from Sierra Leone during gem-raids.

He also met a gorgeous gypsy-woman while doing blood-diamond infiltration diagonal work named Danica, and they wed!

With Esmerelda and Danica, Amlan formed a small intellectual and home life with a Georgetown peer (Doc Brown).

What no one knows however is this 'quartet' at Georgetown, featured in a George article, is actually a 'fairy' group visiting.

Yes, Amlan and his 'friends' are actually fairies from the forest, and they're human to add spice to Georgetown life/soccer.

Amlan is after a ruthless diamond-baron in DC named Leo who's been smuggling gems between Vancouver and Belfast!

LEO: No one shall uncover or deveil the mass empire I'm forging with my piracy-gems and using Georgetown as media-dollar.

To kill this baron of darkness/corruption, Amlan and his fairies must first help Georgetown defeat Temple in a soccer final.

Amlan acts as a visionary coach while his co-fairies cheer on the Hoyas 'fairy-soccer' team, thinking this is a gypsy miracle.

Afterwards, Amlan tells Baron Leo he and Danica and Doc will challenge Leo's gargoyles in a post-soccer paintball maze-run!

LEO: I may not be able to play soccer (at all really!), but my hit-men will grab those 'fairies' in the dark paintball maze run.

A wry capital-investor/intellectual tied to Georgetown witnesses Amlan outrun Leo's gargoyles and agrees to fund them in DC.

AMLAN: I'll make a 'Georgetown fanzine' featuring comic book sentiments about antipiracy and sportsmanship for kids.

"There's nothing to fear (in sport/theory), when fairies abound to recover the 'gold-balls' of world-cinema" (Satan, Amlan).
