An homage to patriotism and media modernism, inspired by Wag the Dog. Enjoy!

==== The complexity of life on Earth is manifest in the colored designs of dynamics and motion in the traffic of energized objects/particles, and we celebrate this 'dynamics' in the symbolism relevant/applicable to globalism rhetoric (e.g., United Nations). ![]() This environment of pluralism/complexity gave rise to special ideas about social networking as the age of media/broadcasting flowered and blossomed, starting with the Civil Rights era, the Big '80s and MTV generation, and through the rise of the Information/Cyber Age of globalized commercial conveniences and fashion streamlining. ![]() America continues to be the 'Big Brother' of globalism rhetoric and social networking pillars of ideals/idealism. They remain the vanguard of anti-cyber terrorism and Wall Street globalization convenience tech-diplomacy! This makes very 'American' images of traffic/globalism reflective of serious thoughts regarding streamlined democratic storytelling for the media/TV generation and comic book audience(s). ![]() There're two 'forces' in the world of GI Joe comics, the valiant American defenders and the super-terrorist group Cobra. The valor-driven democratic 'Joes' are representative of this new age of globalism/commerce defensive values and therefore are considered heroes of world fashion! It might not be any surprise if such 'avatars' in our real world are somehow...real. ![]() Cobra agents are swift and furious and pursue their agenda of 'inventive' globalism ideas in this time of networking intrigue and cyber-capitalism. They're simple terrorists, but they serve as 'Devil's Advocates' of the idea of engendered socialized distancing in this globalism real world and are therefore also somehow...real. ![]() Well, as it stands, this 'covert' tale of American folklore explores the potential realism behind the imaginative/excited idea that the 'Joes' and 'Cobra' are somehow...real. They exist in our real world! Well, as it stands, this 'covert' imaginary tale explores that potential notion that these 'real' Joes and Cobras plan a joint holiday-season buffet event in which they implement a temporary cease-fire and engage in a holiday buffet experience during which they enjoy much food and wine together. ![]() They also hold a hypothetical cooking competition for this Joe-Cobra holiday-season amnesty/cease-fire event/experience. They start to ask each other's sides for potential dates/partnerships to attend the Joe-Cobra joint-event (a culinary experience!) and begin to pair off as couples, ready to bring their potluck dishes to the secret hotel in Asia to see which Joe-Cobra amnesty couple has the best event dish. You know who won? Snake-Eyes (Joe) and Pythona (Cobra) for their joint dish, the exotic Indian butter-chicken curry and rice dish, which was undoubtedly voted at the best entree representing the event's sense of socialized globalism. ![]() Not everyone's thrilled that Snake-Eyes/Pythona won the Joe-Cobra event culinary contest in the Asian hotel. The Joe sailor-soldier-emissary Shipwreck (Kurt Russell) is very angry because Shipwreck and his Joe-wife bought to the event a special fried-chicken and cream dish (quite American!) which they'd been absolutely sure would be the voted champion's entree. They gave a grumble-speech after Snake-Eyes gave his award-acceptance speech during which the ninja-soldier stated, "Butter-chicken's a dish I grew up loving and thrilled it became this Joe-Cobra event 'diagram' trophy!", and in this post-speech, Shipwreck stated, "Fried-chicken goes better...with whiskey." ![]() MODERNISM CRITIC: The idea that social networking/media fosters advanced hospitality imagination is idealistic but fragile. ![]() INDIAN AIRLINES (Executive): We'd supplied Snake-Eyes/Pythona with the butter-chicken media-endorsement for a cinema. ![]() So what if none of this is real? The point is, there's a certain media-oriented 'aesthetic' that makes ideas of media/cyber-driven globalism convenience-consciousness somehow...real. We 'may' imagine how our heroes/avatars from TV/movies reflect our very 'real' worries about what comprises the potion/formula of dollars! ![]() JFK: "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest form of appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2021 Abishai100 |
