The Thing (Sci-Fi Horror)

A spaceship lands near a US Arctic soldier-scientist ice-station (Zebra), exposing a procreating/parasitic growing 'mutant alien thing' requiring survival/defiance.

Storm-Shadow and Snake-Eyes are working together to deal with a new Artic ice-station used for special paleontology studies linked to Harvard/Stanford.

STORM-SHADOW: This 'ice-station zebra' will provide the right tools for good study, partner.
SNAKE-EYES: Let's remain focused on this 'wintry vision' so we don't get confused...or lazy!

They brought their wolf-dog Order with them, who's sensing something in the ice-station lately, causing the poor dog to bark and be worried more often than normal, and Storm-Shadow/Snake-Eyes have to wonder if Order senses something they're not detecting out here in the Artic cold.

STORM-SHADOW: All the research parametrics are in good flow, and there's no sign of strange.
SNAKE-EYES: I have no idea why Order's barking crazy in this ice-station; everything's functional for now!

Storm-Shadow/Snake-Eyes aren't the only individuals positioned of course in this new American 'ice-station zebra' as they're accompanied by a group of soldiers, diggers, and scientists, including the gorgeous female scientist from MIT, Sasha. This is really a 'human expedition' in the Arctic, so good customs mean good work, and everyone seems rather intelligent!

SASHA: I dunno what the hell is all the use of all these 'advanced' laser-guns the soldiers wield, but Order keeps barking!

Order was right. A strange spaceship crash-landed near the Ice-Station Zebra (USA) and was carrying a special 'alien progeneration spore' which was autonomically self-reproductive and capable of 'merging' with human flesh/cells to procreate and spread across the planet, eventually colonizing our species completely! However, not even the US-station good dog Order predicted this spaceship landing, but Storm-Shadow/Snake-Eyes are about to discover it.

STORM-SHADOW: We've brought more tracking-dogs to 'assist' Order while we scout for strange signs now.

SNAKE-EYES: Order's calmed down now and seems to just want to stare out into the quiet distance out here!

However, the spaceship has been discovered, and 'the Thing' (alien regeneration spore being!) capable of dual auto-reproduction/growth and human-flesh symbiosis/parasitism has grown and 'greets' Storm-Shadow/Snake-Eyes as a deformed demonic very large canine-type 'creature' with thorny flesh and very large protruding ears. The two soldiers are horrified!

STORM-SHADOW: Just shoot at it!

SNAKE-EYES: We've got to inform the others (and the government!) this is Hell in the Arctic.

Meanwhile, 'the Thing' manages to 'merge' with some of the Ice-Station Zebra (US) soldiers/laborers and becomes their new 'masters' and merges with their flesh and creates 'drones' for the first 'inception' of their invasion of Earth itself.

STORM-SHADOW: Well, we've manage to execute all vestiges of this multiplying 'Thing' and have scientific catalog.
SNAKE-EYES: Hopefully, the government won't 'inquire' too much about our very 'American' execution methodology!

A new soldier is sent to Ice-Station Zebra (US) and is now accompanying Storm-Shadow/Snake-Eyes and the survivors of the Artic area (including scientist Sasha!) to ensure that no 'undetected' cell-vestige of the landed/invading 'Thing' remain to cause more horror/theater of planetary colonization/procreation, and thankfully, this new special soldier, Shipwreck, is an American dandy who loves nothing more than 'routine' government supervision.

STORM-SHADOW: This has been some adventure, partner; I hope it will simply be recorded/forgotten!
SNAKE-EYES: You can't underestimate the 'dark magic' of government-operated scientific discoveries.
