The evolution of life/civilization on Earth has involved much color and splendor and drama and danger as well. This has culminated in the migration of clans leading to two real dominions --- one is a Citadel (symbolically) composed of outlander 'priests' and wives/children/family and the captain's mother; the other is the rest of the entire planet-population, engaged unified in what is now referred to as the violent crime-cathartic annual 'ritual' of Hell known as the Purge. This is the story of the First Purge in what has become an annual custom of Citadel haven-isolation and the 'sons of anarchy' engaged in their experiment(s) in violence-catharsis. There is no other form of life-evaluation of greater complexity on Earth, despite the fact that the Purge is an 'invisible' event occurring annually in darkness, making life on Earth rather...designed.

Before the First Purge, life/civilization on Earth was customary/predictable and normal in comparison! There were governments and nations of various cultures/groups engaged in forms of ritualized defense and organized military/police and controls of calamity with uniformed men/women of service. This still goes on, of course, but is now simply a practice in standardized 'greetings' of anticipatory legal activity between the Citadel and the Purge sons of anarchy. The old world is now simply a 'postage-stamp' for continued function.

Amlan Satan is the captain of the haven Citadel in NJ/USA. His best friend from Seton Hall is Marcus Raki, and the two are the leaders more or less of the priestly haven Citadel which holds back any instinct to join the Purge sons of anarchy! Amlan/Marcus are nerdists of civilization sanctification and only secure their homeland shelter in NJ/USA every year since the First Purge.

Since the First Purge occurred, there has been a major 4th-July movie released in the USA about this first-ever Purge. The movie explores the 'forces' of sociological controls and anarchy that made this annual 'invisible' event a thing of civilization/Earth practice after the federally-mandated national 'curfew' before the sons of anarchy reign in the streets all over the globe. The Purge occurs each year, either on Devil's Night (October 30) or New Year's Eve (December 31).

So, how did this 'First Purge' begin, requiring the Citadel priest-leaders (Amlan/Marcus) to create their isolationist-haven in NJ/USA ever since? Well, there was much dialogue in events leading up to this 'First Purge' regarding the whole sanity of civilization behaviors/rituals, from the Ancient Empires during which mob-rule and city-panic were signs of the 'frailty' of history.

The sons of anarchy who marshal/trumpet the Purge began talking about how modern times in civilization on Earth was filled with images of corruption, insanity, and unlicensed media legalese! They complained about the failures in the legal system (overground) to contain the natural human 'urge' to exercise criminality and narcissism in the public sector.

They talked about 9/11 and how there were developing 'urges' to find a normalized/streamlined way to have an entire annual 'evening' of violence-catharsis around the globe to counter this claustrophobic force that statistically gave rise to forms of anti-civilization terror/terrorism that went unchecked by overground legalese. This was the root-cause of the First Purge --- to find a 'normal' way to 'contain' the urge to destroy.

AMLAN: We make our Citadel in New Jersey, where holiday-season lights/traffic veil each Purge and offer functionalism.

MARCUS: We ensure that our homeland-haven (Citadel) is secured by advocacy of property-isolation and symbolic creativity!

Before the First Purge, there were countless cyber-fanzines outlining the failures of the legal/psychiatry system in civilization on Earth to create a real 'catharsis' for the human urge to destroy and create standardized violence. It was this frustration with overground traffic that led to the Purge as an Earth practice, requiring the Citadel leaders (Amlan/Marcus) to simply declare this 'old-world' as imagery regarding the isolationism of priestly havens during each anti-social Purge. The legal functioning courts are now 'symbolic' veils for this ritual Earth event.

That year of the First Purge, the White House was swamped by protesters demanding the inception of the Purge ritual. During this 'Purge' event (as it's now called!), there's a mandated curfew all over the Earth, after which bands of 'runners' and 'hunters' go out to raise hell and have fun by either serving as 'hunted prey' creating creative forms of armed evasion or serving as armed sons of anarchy, chasing the 'runners' as 'hunters' with just about any kind of weapon out there. This White House protest right before the First Purge is now considered as symbolic as the Boston Tea Party, really.

AMLAN: The sons of anarchy of the Purge series seek to have an invisible 'record' of this expression of catharsis!
MARCUS: It's a form of self-declarative psychiatry, and the Citadel in America keeps us safe from dark outlanders.

NEW YORK POST (Newspaper): We've seen signs now of the presence of the 'outlanders' who're to engage in the first Purge.

The normal military/police controls in the USA and all over the planet during every Purge are suddenly in postures of invisibility, as they too might take the assumed role of 'hunter/runner' during the experience or annual event. The Coronavirus quarantine did not prove to be an obstacle in the ritualized organized features of the First Purge or every one thereafter.

AMLAN: In our special Citadel in New Jersey, we remain praying/vigilant and entertain ourselves with reading/media.

MARCUS: Our homebase-haven activity during the Purge is a testament to our isolationism during this outlander-event.

Amlan/Marcus sit outside their house with toy water-guns filled with corrosive acid and wearing protective masks and gear, ready for the 'outlanders' or sons of anarchy of the Purge to walk by to interrogate if their house is hiding/harboring any 'runners' requiring cathartic violence or hunting for sport/darkness. Amlan/Marcus coolly showcase their 'acid-guns' and declare that if any 'runner' drives to their property in the Citadel in NJ/USA, their car-tires will be sprayed with acid, showcasing their haven-intention to ward off any 'outlander' --- be he runner/hunter.

AMLAN: We declare this Citadel as a 'function' of timeless civilization ideals regarding isolationism/abstinence!
MARCUS: We're not afraid of this burden of spiritual prayer for our sacred Citadel and reference old images of diviners.

That First Purge, Amlan/Marcus successfully created their 'special' Citadel haven in NJ/USA with their 'acid-gun' property isolationism showcase for any passerby-outlander, and they congratulated the sons of anarchy (from Hell!) in this self-organized ritual of violence-catharsis, complimenting them on the 'invention' of 'ritualized' hellfire to 'exorcise' forms of antisocial arson for the rest of the functioning/legal year. Amlan/Marcus therefore became like 'Sacco and Vanzetti' and were designated as the 'priestly' sanctuary-leaders who'd make the Citadel something of a 'demo' Passover practice. They'd become 'ninjas' of Purge-evasion and made cyber-blogs presenting themselves as simply legal conscientious objectors in NJ/USA.

AMLAN: This Citadel shall be a great triumph during the First Purge and every one thereafter, and we'll remain secure.

MARCUS: Let no on one in this haven in America doubt that the Citadel is simply a new Israel.

As the First Purge began, and the 'Citadel' was passed-over for spiritual legal sanctification, gangs of outlanders, runners/hunters, suddenly flocked the street undergrounds, invisibly mostly, creating 'silent' forms of sometimes undetected sewer-ground or tunnel or late-night street-alley mayhem.

The elders and governments were secure in their palaces and were given special 'Purge-media' feed showcase booths in which they'd revel in glee at the sights/sounds of this annual night of Hell on Earth.

AMLAN: The members of the Citadel in New Jersey have access to the 'Purge-media' feed, but we watch casually!
MARCUS: There's no reason to explore this sort of media-impact on overground civilization function, really.

NEW YORK POST (Newspaper): Perhaps the hypothetical 'Citadel' is a testament of traffic-border eternities.

AMLAN: The members of our 'Citadel' shall read about the leviathan of anarchy and consider the medicine of democracy!
MARCUS: We're simply priests (not protesters) and remain isolationist from any anti-Purge debate and let the leviathan swim.

After the First Purge, during which many crimes/murders/evasions went unchecked or recorded really/professionally, civilization returned to its normal functionalism, and supermarkets and schools were once again open, and CNN/BBC once again reported on the normal sanity/sanitation of life on Earth as capitalism-reliable.
