Rewind/Eject: Recording Government

Rewind/Eject: Recording Government

A Story by Abishai100
"

A short 'abstract' about post-Orwellian rhetoric, reminding us of the 'veil' of governance-diameter in modern civilization.

"
An homage to post-Orwellian media/literature, inspired loosely by The Parallax View (Warren Beatty). Enjoy!

What's the purpose/role of government? Is it simply to provide leadership and centralized control/distribution of resources for use/trade and marketing of science/arts, or does it also facilitate the regulation of human behavior itself? We look at two special modern civilization 'toys' ---- Rewind/Eject (Transformers franchise robot-toys, miniature warrior action-figures who mechanical shape-shift into heroic espionage-geared audio cassettes or 'tapes'). These two 'toys' representing civilization-dogma remind us that the unique 'place' of government is to offer standardization of network communications, two toys symbolizing espionage-intrigue, network action, and technology behind the modern age of cyber-food. That is to say, Rewind/Eject remind us that the 'leviathan' of working governance is the complexity/intrigue behind the documentation of serious functioning global/network activity (e.g., political disclosure recordings, trackings). Without the 'recording of government' (or governance!), civilization is simply and arguably a 'ticker-tape' for unusual detectives. Let's all purge for this special toy-symbolism behind government-direction. Hail to Rewind/Eject, good citizens.
