"

A workaholic over-thinker in North America wonders if an 'ordinary life' of sunlight is blindingly easy to find, through simple detention.

Amlan Satan is a student of Shaivism and ninja-philosophy who recently converted to Catholicism. He's studying blood-diamond underworld piracy investigations by Interpol-relations at Dartmouth (North America) and wonders if he's been thinking too much about work and not enough about emotions.

His work at Dartmouth proved to be seminal in a new line of ECOFIN-oriented diamond-market queries into Belgium and British Columbia in the new millennium, and he's been quoted in Forbes for his timely ideas about blending capitalism rhetorics with economics engineering in multi-layer societies and developing nations in which dirty money is assimilated into the GDP, which is why he's so thankful for the intellectual rigors that Dartmouth offers him in the snowy studious winters!

AMLAN SATAN (Diary Entry): All this 'think-tank' meandering makes me wonder if my brain is like a gun and not a quill.

Suddenly, Amlan's life had changed and changed like completely. He had to take care of a small Japanese orphan who's visiting Dartmouth for a refugee globalism initiative conference sponsored by Amnesty International and UNICEF. Amlan befriends this child, Kan, and the two discover an odd companionship...and Amlan ends up adopting him and making him his new son at Dartmouth.

AMLAN SATAN (Diary Entry): I've been a ninja all my life, and suddenly I find myself a 'child's samurai' and seeking toy-gems!

Amlan/Kan travel to a fashion-show in Massachusetts, where they're to liaison with an economics manager from Holland named Ruud but end up meeting a gorgeous redhead model named Claudia who tells the two she finds their eccentric/offbeat friendship/familiarity quite charming. Claudia and Amlan fall in love, and now he's a family-man.

AMLAN SATAN (Diary Entry): All you need to transform from a ninja to a samurai is the odd blessing of human loyalties.
