Simon and Simon are two college pals from U-Chicago who're now working on a police-detective case in Chicago involving a group of modern-day Bears cheerleaders being stalked by an unidentified 'homegrown' (American) terrorist named Anthony who seeks to destroy the city's morale as the Super Bowl approaches.

Simon and Simon studied psychology at U-Chicago before becoming Windy City detectives, now assigned to this same case involving the terrorist Anthony and his stalking of the Bears organization cheerleaders ahead of the anticipated Super Bowl Sunday game in the USA. Simon and Simon are half-brothers, from different fathers, who're proud to serve as Chicago defenders of modern homeland security!

SIMON: We consider ourselves glassy nerdists of the Windy City's sense of self-proclaimed sovereign sanity.

SIMON: We mean no harm towards today's criminally-insane and yet remain vigilant about our serious Chicago duty.

Simon/Simon began reading about this developing/emerged American 'homegrown crime-terrorism' trend of lunatic fans or 'anti-fans' stalking/haunting American athletes/celebrities/cheerleaders, a backlash against this modern age of media-labyrinth driven untreated claustrophobia.

They're assisted in Chicago by a slick Algerian-American policewoman in the Windy City named Esmerelda who believes this cheerleader-stalking homegrown terrorist (Anthony) seeks to murder multiple Bears women (cheerleaders) ahead of the anticipated Super Bowl to destroy the city's credibility regarding anti-crime sanity in this post-9/11 era, and Esmerelda is thought of as the 'angel' or 'secret dark-horse' of Simon/Simon, providing the glassy nerd-detectives a good sense of Windy City atmospherics/knowledge in the crusade to uphold the dependability of modern American authority!

ANTHONY: I promise that at least 3 cheerleaders of the Bears-team will 'vanish' ahead of the Super Bowl Sunday, and I'll dine.

As the NFC Championship game arrives, and the Bears have to down the upstart Giants of NY to get to the Super Bowl, Simon/Simon believe or hypothesize that it's in fact this pre-Bowl game that will find the homegrown American terrorist (Anthony) seek to 'kidnap' multiple Bears cheerleaders perhaps as they're boarding their private cheerleader-group/team bus. Meanwhile, the Bears are proving to be too gritty for the rival Giants and end up defeating NY by a late-game score-driven victory (20-18)!

SIMON: We're sure this exciting/energized game and post-game festivities is when terrorist Anthony stikes.

SIMON: We're coordinating stadium-perimeters with Esmerelda and then masked/costumed as theatrical Bears fans!

CHICAGO SUN: The Bears team has always been proud of its amazing cheerleaders, messengers of the city's dreams and sun.

When Simon/Simon spot a strange-looking man in a priest's garb walking idly towards the Bears cheerleaders-group bus as the cheerleaders are boarding, the two wily/costumed theatrical Windy City detectives are certain this 'fake priest' is Anthony himself and walk up to him with their theater-performance street-fanfare toy water-rifles, which they've been showcasing since the conclusion of the Bears victory tonight and reveal to the fake-priest their toy water-rifle is actually filled with acid and that they're Chicago police-detectives.

ANTHONY: I dunno how those two 'b******s' (Simon/Simon) caught me in my priest-scheme; I was taking hostages to an alley!

SIMON: This is not the first story of American cheerleader-women being threatened/stalked/murdered!

SIMON: We believe this Bears trip to the Super Bowl Sunday will symbolize a great triumph in modern prayers.

CHIGAGO SUN: The Windy City has a real 'Batman-and-Robin' in Simon/Simon, and we're eager to see their next triumph!

The two college pals decide to celebrate with Esmerelda for a re-screening of an American 'gem' in a classic Windy City movie-theater after the Bears triumph in the Super Bowl, defeating the New England Patriots 34-20. The movie is Psycho.
