UCLA-Cornell: Soccer Defensor

A Story by Abishai100
"

A tale of sports(manship), bloody gems for pirates, and continental defense of teamwork/distances.

"
A soccer 'fable' inspired loosely by the iconic cult-favorite sports(soccer)-genre film Hotshot. Thanks for reading,

Storm-Shadow was to lift a blood-diamond safe-box during the halftime of the UCLA-Cornell men's collegiate soccer championship game, in a bank near the campus-arena for media-broadcast!

He was to serve as an assistant-coach for the Bruins up to halftime before cutting-out to make his diamond-heist in transit.

STORM-SHADOW: Cornell is the finest Ivy League team to enter the championship...ever; and we don't want to fail here.

Now, we all know soccer has attained a special media spotlight on the world-stage, and there's no doubt it's a money-wheel.

STORM-SHADOW: I'll be a 'nerdist' of sports-activity while coordinating this almost-perfect halftime diamond-lift.

Well, as it turns out UCLA defeated Cornell 4-3 (with 2 swift zone-assist goals by captain Shaker in the late period), and Storm-Shadow got his blood-diamond(s) as well as the sacred Black Pearl, rumored to be tied to blood-diamond pirates of the Old Caribbean.

STORM-SHADOW: All is fair in love and bloody gems.
