Can a special/covert 'GI Joe' agent prevent a replicant alien 'Thing' from using LAX as a foundation for Earth-colonization?

An airport sci-fi horror story inspired by The Andromeda Strain.

LAX is such a busy airport, and it's where I've been tracking a potential alien 'creature' lurking and hiding invisibly, despite its uncanny ability to shape-shift into humanoids and mimic the appearance/behavior of people, and I've tracked the 'beast' thing to this iconic Western airport (USA).

You might be enjoying a nice cup of coffee at LAX in one of the cafes or bistros and not realize you're sitting next to a 'clone' dimension of this alien Thing mutated into mimicking one of its hapless human victims it's grabbed, absorbed, and is imitating as a humanoid! This can be alarming, even in this age of Starbucks sanity, no?

The alien Thing is able to reproduce the template of human population trends and create algorithms of patterned behaviors to 'fool' us into thinking it's one of us, but it has the general flaw of simply templating the human species trend, as if it's making mimic-clones, but if unchecked, it can replace/swap the species with forms of symmetrical design!

My name's Amlan, and I'm a 'GI Joe' operative working at LAX tracking this alien Thing which remains confidential. I've been using offbeat dress/gear and appearances to 'trick' the alien Thing into thinking I'm too 'non-standard' to attempt to mimic or replicate as a 'victim' for future colonization agendas. I consider myself a 'ninja-nerd' in this airport mission to save our species now.

Once I give the clearance, the other security forces and personnel will properly/timely secure LAX and ensure its regular functioning continues without any media hysteria or disclosure panic and promptly deliver follow-up scientific containment/study procedures and create a simply 'covert' reporting process for public history.

You can't know if the alien Thing is among us and if it can basically walk around as a 'humanoid' of sane agenda/intentionality. If I see it, and I note its amorphous shape and malicious killing intent, I have to use my customized laser-heat handgun to shoot the alien/mimic being in the eyes and then in the respiratory areas or gills/lungs.

We believe now that this alien Thing is here on Earth to complicate the spread of the recent Coronavirus variants (Delta/Omicron) to create panic in modern traffic regarding the systemic medical procedures for treating this mutating disease which can afflict even vaccinated individuals, lest schedules of supplements (D) and pneumonia (Etc.) medicines are administered in conjunction with incubation-dialogue for addressing its 'DNA' signature(s).

We can't be sure if this alien Thing wishes to invade or colonize Earth simply because it's being 'swamped' by the two Coronavirus variants now, but we do know its cloning/mimic agenda or uncanny ability reflects its invasion-strategy to use 'silent fear' to create a stream-of-consciousness conducive to subliminal subjugation paired with human-replication/murder.

So, you'll find me at LAX working with this Thing to deliver the promise of hope our species on Earth deserves after such tribulations as 9/11 and the Holocaust. We won't fail. I have the right method to ensure that I don't become another stat-replicant/victim of the Thing in LAX. I'm simply geared/masked as a ninja-doctor and have a room with books near the airport now.

REPORT: I'm using the laser-handguns of 'GI Joe' to hunt the Thing in the airport, and I doubt it obeys 'normal' soccer style.

There've been multiple LAX security men informed to wander around with loaded rifles in case the Thing makes itself known as a malicious 'being' of replicant-strategy intent on simply creating bloodthirsty anarchy or consuming all traffickers before disappearing to make its next silent/underground invasion strike on Earth. These fine LAX security-men are our 'angels' in Hell.

REPORT: Considering the Thing can replicate any human invokes the question, "Can we ID any given human as conscious?"

We believe now the alien-Thing wishes to use Pneumonia sensitivity to invade the breathing-muscles of a human being, since such an 'organic infiltration' signals the intent to compound Delta/Omicron vulnerabilities to simple doctoring.

REPORT: Finally, I've spotted the blob-like amorphous alien-Thing in the airport late-night, and I shot it 50 times --- it's dead.

Now, America is safe, and LAX is being secured by the other valiant men of 'GI Joe' as well as the standard/covert security personnel I alluded to earlier in this report-tale. This is for a confidential government-record 'storybook' and should be eyed with more gravity than, say Fahrenheit 451 or Gattaca. In other words, the right people should apply these 'learnings' to the appreciation of macro-traffic/infrastructure vitality in places like LAX.

REPORT: It's our considerable opinion that Amlan (code-name: Storm-Shadow) has become a real-life Dr. Zhivago.

We locked up the dead-corpse of the alien-Thing, frozen in liquid-nitrogen, in a special building-hangar for eternal caging, and we seriously 'doubt' any such 'creature' of venomous intelligence will visit Earth and plague its 'diary' dilemmas like Coronavirus-time frailties.
