Patriots-Bills: Wild-Card Dream(s)A Story by Abishai100Two non-heavyweight teams take the American football wild-card playoff stage for what's to be a presentation in social deed.
A pre-game homage to the Bills-Patriots sort of 'American football' playoff magic, ahead of what might *actually* happen in what's surely the most unpredictable/energized playoff-pool we've seen in American media...in decades!
DISCLAIMER: I have no affiliation with any team mentioned and intend this to simply be a 'social work' of fiction-data. ---- ==== Mac Jones and his New England Patriots took the field on wild-card playoff gameday (American football), as the challenging and higher-ranked Buffalo Bills and QB-Josh Allen took the field as well, in what's promised to be a game of great value and social significance. The pool was very unpredictable this year for American football playoffs. There's simply too many 'dark-horse' teams with great reach/potential and heavyweights who may be toppled or may simply shine through the competition. It's anyone's game this year, and the Patriots have been playing handsomely all well without the likes of Brady and company, while the Bills have really emerged as a real force of play, with Josh Allen marshaling great plays and creative-thinking on-the-fly, which would make this Patriots-Bills matchup one-for-the-books! PATRIOTS QB: We've prepared mentally all month for this sort of scenario. BILLS QB: We're certain we've got the right coaching and teamwork-mentality to compete today. The two coaches of these two great American football teams adequately prepared their competitive teams to take the field and create a 'special' media event for this unpredictable playoff-pool, and many sports-writers were simply 'divided' in what would be the outcome of this crazy bracket of all-promising football teams (e.g., Patriots, Eagles, Chiefs, Raiders, etc.). The Patriots-Bills would be a nice 'platter' for this sort of wild-card weekend mentality, leading up to the later rounds and eventually to the Super Bowl, and it's anyone's game. Now, the Patriots had managed to defeat the Bills during the regular-season in a close contest, but the Bills are now thinking pure revenge and solid mental-drive. Both teams are gifted now. PATRIOTS QB: It seems this team playing us is focused on team-flow. BILLS QB: If we think offense-defense flow, we'll have the 'mechanism' for consistency. The two teams took the field and started play, and the Bills scored first, marching down the field and scoring a field-goal after missing the TD opp, but the Patriots responded with a TD-pass (30-yards) after a solid punt-return run. At halftime the score was Patriots 14, Bills 10. At halftime, the coaches explained this sort of wild-card 'intuition' required a good social/human focus on the mechanics of competitive play. This was food and good media fun, but it was good football simultaneously. The Patriots scored twice in the 3rd, but the Bills scored 2 TDs and a FG in the 4th to grab a 27-24 victory, signaling in what's surely a playoff-experience for the writers to claim, "American sports-media is all about...dogma." ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) ![]() © 2022 Abishai100 |
