The Dangerous Twins

Two very opposite twins meet in New England every month but on one occasion find a reason to discover darkness.

A tale of moral profundity, inspired loosely by the film Ravenous (Guy Pearce), which I think I'll use to sign-off with and decide not to pursue my Super Bowl post-game fanfiction (after all!). Enjoy,

In idyllic New England (Boston), a pair of siblings, twins, met every month to chat in the park, but something was about to get more complex for the next meeting between the brothers...something more dangerous.

The brother, Amlan/Ajay Satan met in the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Boston (New England) once a month while deciding to intersect their lives for this special life-friendship meeting. In the past months/years, the Satan twins/brothers met at the Courtyard hotel (Boston) and walked to the Boston Park together and returned to talk about their progress in short-story writing and journals, and they exchanged ideas gathered from their travels to places like Australia and Malaysia, but this time, the Courtyard hotel (Boston) would be the site of something much more complex...and dangerous.

You see, these twins are not at all similar, and in fact, are quite different in personality. Amlan is the more eccentric and stranger like brother, and he's experimented with strange alternative lifestyles and is currently exploring life-mythology in the Pine Barrens forests in New Jersey (USA), wearing distinctive Davey Crockett hats and wielding authentic 19th century rifles (usually used for hunting animals). Ajay, on the other hand, is a computer-technician working for Circuit-City and is more or less a very 'normal' individual with normal interests/curiosity, and he's writing stories about American media (e.g., TNT). The Satan twins/brothers are as opposite as night-and-day!

During this much more 'dangerous' brotherly/sibling conference or meeting at the Courtyard Marriott hotel (Boston) followed by a usual/customary brotherly visit to the Boston Park, the Satan twins/brothers decide to start reading from the copy of the hotel room's Gideon's Bible together and start debating about (of all things!)...cannibalism.

You see, the Satan twins/brothers have discovered they're dating the same woman! She's a Patriots (American football) cheerleader named Daphne (quite beautiful!) who's met them separately and kept her dual courtship with them a dark secret. She's not insidious or malicious, but she's not come to terms with how to confide her claimed 'equal-love' for both brothers (Amlan/Ajay).

AMLAN: Why're you dating Daphne too, good brother?
AJAY: This is a pure accident, Amlan, and we mustn't look too deeply here!
AMLAN: I understand your wisdom, but I'm simply furiously insane.
AJAY: I know that, Amlan, but you're being too emotional...and dangerously violent.
AMLAN: Don't you understand what we must now contemplate, Ajay my good brother?
AJAY: You've always been the more eccentric of us two, but I suppose I'm curious about your advice.
AMLAN: I suggest we eat Daphne.
AJAY: What?
AMLAN: We must resort to cannibalism to reaffirm our life-blood loyalty to each other.
AJAY: Amlan, you insane idiot, we're not brothers by some kind of moral obligation here!
AMLAN: Why, aren't you curious if Daphne is...delicious?
AJAY: Bloody murder isn't the answer to a sibling-rivalry here, Amlan.
AMLAN: Why not?
AJAY: Daphne is someone we both love/admire, and we must resolve this dilemma sanely.
AMLAN: Why?
AJAY: Because cannibalism and murder are signs of antisocial imagination...we'll sink into oblivion!
AMLAN: So?
AJAY: We don't owe each other anything more than moral brotherly love, Amlan.
AMLAN: Here I was thinking we'd find some new revelation with that Munch painting (Scream)!

AJAY: No.

This very bizarre and 'dangerous' conference at the Courtyard hotel (Boston) between the Satan twins/brothers resulted in a fortunately sane resolution involving the two of them breaking up equally with the emotionally conflicted and dishonest Daphne. However, soon after this decision was safely-made in the Boston Park during the chat Amlan/Ajay had normally, Amlan invited Ajay back to the Courtyard where they both relished in an Indian dish of creamy beef curry stew. That's when Amlan smiled eerily to his more 'sane' twin-brother (Ajay) and whispered, "We've both had tasty beef cream-stew, but what if I told you the meat...was Daphne's flesh (hehe)?"
