The campus of Andover is considered one of the best in high-school environments, and it's arguably the most prestigious non-college school in Western civilization, and this year Andover will see a new kind of socialized intrigue involving athletics and the modern media world.

Amlan Satan is an Andover teacher (cognitive science) as well as the boys' soccer coach. This year, Andover boys' soccer has the chance to win the national championship, since its talent includes a very gifted midfielder named Brandon Arrow who's got the necessary diagonal passing skills to ensure Amlan's offense-coaching strategy of a shifting 4-4-2 strike-heavy scoring motion will be met with terrific goal-vision(s). Amlan Satan is therefore considering how this year's Andover boys' soccer team has the necessary 'gift' to upset the nationally-ranked UCLA Bruins.

AMLAN SATAN: We've already defeated Georgetown, Exeter, and Duke in the boys' soccer tourney, thanks to Arrow's control(s).

Because of this newfound/unprecedented boys' athletics media-spotlighting on the Andover campus, which has till now been mostly 'celebrated' for its purely academic stance/stature, the lucrative Italian sports-shoe company Diadora's considering offering the boys' soccer team a 'secret support equipment negotiated contract' for this 'winning' season.

AMLAN SATAN: This 'Diadora news' has been leaked into the media, and I fear Andover's seeing too much 'dollar' storyline.

As all this is going on in Andover this 'winning' season, the star-midfielder who's made all this possible, Brandon Arrow, is busy in his campus dorm enjoying a very cool series of FIFA soccer video-games, simulating the Andover team's recent victories over teams like Seton Hall and Exeter! That's when one of his Andover dorm-mates/pals decides to take iPhone-shots of Arrow playing these soccer-themed video-games (to leak to the media for profit --- "Brandon Arrow's no 'stranger' to consumerism vanities!").

AMLAN SATAN: If the media wishes to cast out prestigious Andover star (Arrow) as a media-dog, we won't allow drama!

This is, after all, the age of enormous media money and celebrity-figurine conversationalism in the press, stage, and chat-rooms (cyber)! Will this Andover soccer drama go unchecked by the watchful eyes of campus sages such as Amlan Satan who wish only to choreograph modesty mechanics in the rearing of athletics? Teachers such as Satan don't seek media-infiltration into educational environments...if only to 'espouse' the real 'diamonds' of Andover diaries.

AMLAN SATAN: I'm now working with another Andover teacher (Shelbye Desi) to configure a worthy 'anti-media' dune!

AMLAN: It seems all this media-soccer 'craze' would detour you from prestige!
ARROW: I care about Andover soccer and education, Dr. Satan.
AMLAN: I know that, Brandon; but we've got to consider the 'red dragon' of money!
ARROW: Don't worry about the ergonomics of civilization at Andover, good sir.
AMLAN: I'm not worried per se, Arrow, but I fear we're being drawn into fables!
ARROW: We could use some 'extra' media lights for this season against the Bruins, doctor.
AMLAN: Yes, you're right, of course, but the 'red dragon' of distraction/hallucination nears!
ARROW: I doubt Andover's the only school threatened by the 'world' of media-conversation, sir.
AMLAN: You're right; this is precedented, but we need to meditate on the 'value' of isolationism!
ARROW: Andover is, after all, 'celebrated' for its arrows of duty.
AMLAN: I wonder if this 'red dragon' will somehow shift our focus from democracy!
ARROW: Let's hope that's simply...dummy.
