An idealism-short about discovery of academic insight in times of overwhelming dogma.

One last short, inspired by Tea with Mussolini. Enjoy,

I've been studying human psychology for years, since college, and I traveled to New England and met a German-American professor of Harvard linguistics who called herself the Baroness, for her special 'intrigue' studies regarding inventive grammar in wartime. I realized then that I'd met a real American scholar of complex political imagination, and I decided to invite her for afternoon tea-sessions in my leased Boston loft. I consider myself a fan of the Baroness now, a real nerdist of academic journalism.

Every afternoon for an entire summer, the Baroness and I shared wonderful neck-relaxing hot herbal tea with lemon, herbs, and/or menthol lozenges. These were the ideal complements for our summertime chats about the quality of wrought commercial lifestyle in capitalism culture in modern times in the context of consumerism claustrophobia (e.g., ActiVision).

BARONESS: I doubt this harmless young idealist-romantic American intellectual/academic realizes he's tea-eating with me.

What I've truly discovered from these afternoon summertime tea-eat sessions with the diabolique-queen 'Baroness' is that to dissect the motions of capitalism imagination in modern times, you have to find nifty 'pockets' of living intuition to transcend the distracting veils of dollar-traffic and confusion created by the sea of money and markets that facilitate us to 'forget' the natural value of human distancing.
