Scarecrow's PatriotsA Story by Abishai100A 'neo-classical' diorama about progressive American 'social work' inspired by intellectualism directed to difference(s).
An homage to the era of Thoreau and Edward Abbey and alluding to a local-cheered New England football team ('Patriots') but with no direct tie to the actual/real Patriots (Tom Brady) team! Inspired loosely by My Fellow Americans.

Scarecrow now wanted to turn his attention to social work and adopted a children's adoption center and women's cheerleading squad in New England and converted the groups into a holistic American 'academy' for cyber-education and blogs about the value of teamwork-based education and social activities such as sports-commentary/cheering. He called his organization of vigilance 'ActiVision' and instructed his school-children to make cyber-artworks about the lesser-known local New England football team called Patriots and their cheerleaders would render uniformed photo-images for these cyber-academy posts/blogs about American consciousness! ---- Now, the 'Scarecrow' had already been compared to the likes of Ichabod Crane, Evil Knievel, Thomas Nast, and Eliot Ness, but now he was being likened to Hellen Keller's teacher Anne Sullivan. Scarecrow used his cyber-academy 'ActiVision' to espouse the gentle but 'scared' American bonds between education thinking and teamwork-oriented cyber-activity for sports commentary and media-cheering for the Super Bowl which had become known for its capitalism-reflective TV-spots/ads. This was 'advanced sociology' and Scarecrow considered himself no longer a vigilante but an American ideologist and sometimes praised the works of American PBS public-access painter Bob Ross and English writer-artist Graeme Base. He hoped ActiVision itself would be likened to Reading Rainbow or Highlights Magazine for Children. ---- Now, the 'Scarecrow' had been linked to the past-life of advanced crime-fighting and became a secret 'ally' to New England police, and he used this experience to instill values in ActiVision regarding the spiritual American praise of life and liberty and sanctity in media and small-towns. He took his students/cheerleaders on photo-mission field-trips to pet cemeteries, grass-roots animal parks/conservation programs, and bookstore openings or library book sales. This was to be what Anne Sullivan rendered an 'American arrow' of proactive social rhetoric, but Scarecrow considered himself simply a thinker of civilization 'journalism' and not a radical/anarchist like John Brown or Thoreau. Would the offerings of the modern cyber-world in the West provide for ActiVision the 'right stuff' for socialized 'New England Patriots' writings and hence cast this American 'icon' as a 'hero' of sociological dollar trees? ---- ==== ---- "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) ![]() © 2022 Abishai100 |
