Denim-DrillA Story by Abishai100A narrated art-diorama using prose to account for that 'magical' experience with rich denim, perhaps a symbol of danger itself.
An homage to materialism-art, inspired loosely by Pollock.

==== I'm a fashion-designer and use comic book stenciled avatars to come up with a special kind of denim-derived mosaic art called Denim, a re-presentation of the consciousness of labor, which is really what denim symbolizes and it's why I reference/cite avatars who've got that special magic labor-skill or touch in their powers/superpowers, such as terrorism-infiltrating ninjas. ![]() Denim is a sacred material, and it's used to make jackets and pants mostly but also sometimes more fanciful items and accessories like shirts and bracelets. It's a ubiquitous material and American companies have become legendary because of it, such as Lee and Levi's. It's the stuff of modern media spray-paint! ![]() The denim-mosaics I use represent the general consciousness regarding the fleshy muscular 'experience' of traffic and dynamic motion or fitness or the 'yoga' of labor and rough-and-tough everyday living. It's a magic material, really. ![]() I consider myself a 'nerdist' of the 'materialism' of social consciousness, such as Velcro-themed friendship-comedy, rubber-themed resilience poetry, and copper-themed cooking pottery, which is why I look at myself in the mirror and ask, "Do I feel like a 'denim-boy' today?" ![]() Denim is not only a magic-material but a terrific blue-color/shade really, which is why it can be 'cast' for special layout/canvas color re-presentations signifying a lucid/rich perception of the imagery of watery fitness! ![]() Plus, who 'really' denies that denim is above all...sexy and smart? ![]() Why'd the denim experience become more iconic/reflective in the West/America than anywhere else? Perhaps there's something about a labor-magic material that requires that special 'dash' of media/markets which is really a 'hallmark' of the West/America. ![]() You see a cool person walking down Hollywood Ave., and s/he's wearing a very cool denim jacket with a very cool spray-painted or sewn image of a very 'valiant' Native-American woman on the back, and you gotta ask yourself (if only for a moment), "Do natives do it better?" ![]() Don't be too hampered by critique here --- the bottom-line is that denim is really about the 'materialism' of celebrity imagination, since we're reminded of the socialized distancing behind national/cultural dollars...and roads! ![]() "Blue Denims are the most beautiful things since the gondola" (Diana Vreeland) ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
