At a very iconic American hotel in NYC, an Algerian-American was writing a furious journal about the quality of simulated emotions, in museums, ice-rinks, Halloween activity, and toystores. The hotel became his special den for synthesizing ideas about formulated experience.

AMLAN SATAN (Journalist/Protagonist): This experience of writing in my hotel-room will charge my study of synthetics!

First, Amlan (our protagonist/writer) went to the Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum where he took snapshots of two lovely American women taking festive selfies by a wax-silhouette/figurine of the iconic American/Hollywood starlet Marilyn Monroe.

He then visited the home of his friend from Amsterdam who'd been working in NYC as a writer and since it was Halloweentime, he noticed his buddy's daughter dressed as a practicing witch and carrying a broom and took an iPhone snapshot of her standing by a HD-TV and thought about the nature of self-made daydreams.

Satan then traveled to a NYC toystore and took a photo of an iconic Transformers Decepticon robot-toy named Scourge, a fierce minion of Hell who transformed 'mechanically' into a laser-hovercraft and generally represented malice. He considered why/how Scourge re-presented a social consciousness regarding detention.

Amlan Satan then went to the Rocky-ice center where he took photos of people skating during the holiday-season and noticed that the sheer 'simulated' life-activity of 'pretend-intelligence' symbolized his study of human/worldly dance.

AMLAN SATAN (Journalist/Protagonist): Now, I'll just spend time in the hotel itself and take notes about pretend-life!

It was here, back in this special NYC hotel, where Satan (Amlan) started thinking about the symbolic/sociological value of the lift-elevator, a gold 'machine' which carried 'passengers' up and down the hotel levels/floors. He considered why this Astoria-elevator symbolized pure imagination.

While inside the elevator at the Astoria, Amlan Satan realized that what he'd been studying was the pure nature of human sovereignty, the will/ability to use the imagination to create/cast perfectly viable activities and thoughts, even if they're pretend, synthetic, fanciful, eccentric, or dreamy!

It was in this elevator at the great American hotel that Satan hallucinated he saw the 'specter' of legendary NFL QB Tom Brady, winner of over 5 Super Bowl titles, and he wondered what he should think/believe. He then raced to a sports-collectibles store the next day and purchased a rare/valuable Beckett rookie-ticket Brady/Patriots trading-card (American football!).
