Lotor's Design

The defiant Prince Lotor calculates a 'revolution' to usurp his father-emperor while being monitored by the democratic Voltron-force!

Prince Lotor, ultimate swordsman but man of great calculating political intelligence and cunning, had attempted to overthrow the dominion-kingdom of his insidious father, Emperor Zarkon. This was a strange and dark planet on which this political intrigue/drama extended, and the mighty defenders of democracy known as the Voltron-force (comprised of valiant space-pilots flying mechanical soaring lion-robot planes which combined into a super-warrior robot named Voltron!) tried to usurp both the Castle Doom of Emperor Zarkon and any surfacing power-prestige regime forged by his zealot and ambitious (and defiant!) son, Prince Lotor. Meanwhile, Prince Lotor had a strange 'vision' of his own, involving the recruitment of all the female slave-laborers under the dark rule of his father, Emperor Zarkon, and take these beautiful women in as his courtly betrothed and fortunate wives!

PRINCE LOTOR: I shall use 'love' as a weapon, and I'll forge a rising defiant reign based on beauty-magic, destroying Zarkon!

This was a calculated scheme of incredibly dangerous proportion. In fact, what the clever Lotor was doing was using the established political paradigm of subjugated women to create a proverbial 'reversal-of-fortune' to literally (and figuratively!) erect a love-dominion of 'wrought' liberties. Zarkon was infuriated and depressed, as he realized such a defiant 'revolution' would cast his own Empire as somehow misogynist and cruel. Meanwhile, Lotor's now 'abundant' palace-of-wives came to be known throughout the land(s) as a 'legion' of defiant beauty-magic. Lotor was finally sitting on a ruling chair as a dictator of ultimate intelligent political challenge. He even had all his wives be gifted special expensive 'sarees' and dresses to bring out their sensuous qualities of species power.

VOLTRON-FORCE: As long as these 'slave-women' turned wives are not harmed, Lotor's reign's to be monitored only for terror!

Of course, the Voltron-force had to 'concede' that this very unusual 'scheme' of the defiant Prince Lotor seemed to praise/honor/improve the very lives of the once-enslaved beautiful women of the planet formerly under Zarkon's dark control(s). They had to sensibly conclude that the best method for continuing detection/monitoring of Prince Lotor's new 'revolutionary' regime would simply be to ensure that the slaves-turned-wives were not in some way 'invisibly' harmed under Lotor's obstinate hand(s). This was a great change in the planet's goings-on, and the Voltron-force had to be sure that Lotor's 'vision' of an inventive palace-domain wouldn't create some 'new form' of dark presidio. Would Lotor ironically 'champion' his slaves-turned-wives as 'angels' of peace...or sirens of death?
