I am Venger, a winged sorcerer from Venus atop my flying horse Nightmare. I'm traveling to Earth now to open a baseball-card store in the United States. Follow along on this strange journey about culture, which has inspired even the likes of me, a natural cynic!

I started spying on human civilization some time ago, and I never age, and I'm an immortal, set always at 30 years-of-age. I became fascinated by American baseball with my spy-gear on Venus and started collecting images from the Earth civilization 'Internet' regarding the human love of baseball paraphernalia. It's all good spirit(s)!

Now, I'm managing a nice small baseball-cards store in Boston (New England). I have a really handsome collection with some very nice rare valuables including a Nolan Ryan, John Olerud, and Yogi Berra card (Topps, Upper Deck, Donruss, Score, etc.). However, two cards stand out as favorites, despite not being terrifically valuable pieces. The first is a Topps Len Dykstra card (Philadelphia Phillies). It's real magic!

The other is a 1988 Upper Deck Von Hayes card (Philadelphia Phillies). Philadelphia is the City of Brotherly Love and the home of outstanding sports spirits/fanfare, and this Hayes Upper Deck gem is a real treat for those in 'love' with cards-magic but not necessarily dwelling on $1M cards. This is my other favorite, which I carry proudly (copies too!) in my New England cards-store now!

I've met a very nice girl from Cape Cod and we're going to get married. I've told my horse Nightmare back on Venus, I may not return, and he's now free to reign on the planet as my 'sorcerer's successor' and freeing me to pursue a human life of marriage and sports memorabilia salesmanship!

I look like an average human being now, and I sometimes collect some novelty-toy items during Christmastime for younger shoppers who come into my memorabilia store in New England. I'm an Algerian-American now named Amlan Satan (merchant name on eBay: Venger227).

Whoever wants to know the heart and mind of America had better learn baseball, the rules and realities of the game - and do it by watching first some high school or small-town teams (Jacques Barzun).
