Brittany grew up in the United States (Western civilization). This is a place of great traffic, intrigue, and development(s) of dollars.

Brittany, however, is not a normal person. She's got a horrifying secret, which stems from her dark youth, her childhood. This 'secret' has shattered her sensibilities, and despite the fact that she's now a pro football cheerleader (United States), her childhood has given her the elemental blocks of absolute evil, psychosis.

When she was young, Brittany's parents were murdered by a vandal on the streets while they were walking her home from a movie theater. She was moved to an adoption-parent home in which she was taken care of by a male housekeeper who abused her severely. You see, folks, this evil 'male nanny' would abuse young Brittany and then toss her in a mud pit to watch her cry or worry.

BRITTANY: I grew up with a special fascination with psychology workbooks, and I found myself sharpening my sense(s!)

Today, Brittany is a thriving football cheerleader. She enjoys her work, and it gives her a handsome salary and good media lights. She loves cheering for her Texan team, and the fans like her too! However, no one knows Brittany's dark secret.

Brittany is an American Psycho. She's a cheerleader in one part/psyche of her life, and a hockey-mask wearing home-invading prostitute-murderess in the other! She gets clients for her street-walking while donning special 'masquerade' masks and then slips on her hockey-mask once inside the home/motel-room of her male client(s). She's killed over 30 men in just 3 years, and she considers herself a master. She also loves BBQ sauce (for eating). Brittany is an American Psycho.

BRITTANY: So, you must be really proud of your 'celebrity' now, officer!
ALAS: I consider myself one of the most distinguished gentlemen of the law in the West now.
BRITTANY: You got me because I was too drunk and drifted into a 7-11 you're staking-out!
ALAS: I'd been tracking you for over 3 months before that, now, Brittany.
BRITTANY: You know, I'm an American Psycho.
ALAS: I'm sure I've gathered such 'society notes' now that you've got a bio-movie offer.
BRITTANY: Yes; Martin Scorsese wants to make a movie about my life, ya know?
ALAS: You must feel flattered.
BRITTANY: Well, I'm not disclosing all my laundry for the film project, officer.

ALAS: So you understand why I'm at the Hitchcock-Hospital for your incarceration?
BRITTANY: Yes, they asked me if I have a 'personal' psychiatry request, and I requested you!
ALAS: You explained, "I like the way Officer Alas seems to really 'feel' the mind(s) of criminals."
BRITTANY: That was the pitch, and I did it perfect, officer.
ALAS: Good.
BRITTANY: So, what's on your mind, Alas?
ALAS: I was wondering...did you have a 'normal' childhood, Brittany?
BRITTANY: Hell no, I was abused by a deranged male housekeeper who'd throw me in mud!
ALAS: What?
BRITTANY: That's what made me don a mask and sword as an adult psycho, Alas.

ALAS: Good lord; I can now see the clear picture of Brittany --- American Psycho (by bad nurture).
BRITTANY: It's in the 'nature' of things to 'become' depressing, ya know?
ALAS: Well, 'Miss Psycho' of the West, I guarantee this hospital-center will suit our long chats.

Officer Alas, Brittany's attending man-of-letters, became her fulltime psychiatrist/counselor, and his own life was then re-presented in a Scorsese film titled Lawman (Adrian Grenier). It won Best Picture, even though the movie about Brittany did not. What Alas recalls mostly was, "I learned about my own youth while engaged with Brittany --- American Psycho."
