A fan narrates why his football card(s)-collection typifies the American diary.

A Super Bowl homage to the triumphant Rams to sign off with, inspired by Heaven Can Wait (Warren Beatty). Thanks for reading (and enjoy!),
DISCLAIMER: I have no official ties to the Rams organization and intend this only to be a personal work of fanfare-oriented sports-cards dialogue.

I live in the City of Angels. I'm an LA Rams (football) fan. I have a nice city apartment, and I collect Rams football-cards, but I also have an apartment in New England (Boston).

My name's Amlan Satan. I'm an Ivy League graduate and write comic books and make comic book art. However, my secret pastime is Rams football. Mostly, I collect Rams football-cards, but I also try to watch every Rams game on American TV. I consider myself a 'nerdist' of Rams cards.

Now, we all know American football cards are great fan-spirited memorabilia/mementos of what makes this modern game so reflective of teamwork, cheers, and grit. Football cards are not as 'iconic' as baseball-cards, but they certainly capture all the charm/magic of the tough and dramatic sport, which boasts an incredible TV-relationship (i.e., Super Bowl).

After the LA Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022, I thought about what kinds of Rams football-cards would highlight/accent my fanfare surrounding this iconic American sports-team and what has made it (over-the-years) so re-presentative of American beauty. Of course, it's the cheerleader(s) (right?)!

When I was younger, I showcased my awesome Pro-Set Jim Everett Rams football-card. Everett had an outstanding run with the Rams as QB in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when they reached the NFC Championship(s) game but crumbled against Montana's 49ers. To us 'die-hard' LA Rams fans, a Jim Everett card will always represent why this team has showcased incredible passing-offense flairs.

Of course, it's the LA Rams cheerleader(s) that really 'pronounce' what this iconic/reflective team's offered to the American landscape (and culture!). The Rams are a fun team, unlike the Dallas Cowboys which are more 'symbolic' of the American ethos. The Rams are simply flashy and entertaining to watch, and their fans/cheerleaders highlight the sport's ornamentations.

I also showcase my Kurt Warner Rams card (Topps). It's a terrific toast to the 2000 Super Bowl winning team and why Warner lifted the modern-day Rams to excellent levels. Ferragamo's Rams lost the Super Bowl to Bradshaw's Steelers. Everett's high-soaring Rams lost to Montana's 49ers in the NFC Championship. However, Warner's Rams sealed the deal in the first Super Bowl of the new millennium with a triumph over the Tennessee Titans.

Why do I collect Rams cards in my collection? I consider the Rams America's dream, and my Rams football-cards re-present my fascination with American beauty and sports-magic. It's that basically simple, folks! Cheer with us.

Finally, I showcase(d) my Matthew Stafford (Donruss) LA Rams card. It's also a fine example of what makes the Rams a great team, be they in St. Louis or (thankfully) back in the prophetic 'City of Angels' (USA). Stafford won the Super Bowl in 2022 against the Bengals (Cincinnati) with a thrilling late-game drive. This coupled Warner's 2000 triumph. It's what makes this Rams-card so terrific...and a collector's item (for any Rams fan!).

In my honest/humble estimate, my Rams card-collection deserves to be in some kind of American museum, simply because it's a hallmark of American spirit(s). Rams cards may not be as valuable as, say, Cowboys (Dallas) football-cards, but the reason they make the 'musem-grade' (as they might say), is because they're simply 'antiques' of the American Dream.

The Rams may win another Super Bowl in the near future, because they're currently boast great spirit(s). However, the 2000-2022 wins highlight why this iconic American team is the 'stuff' of pure daydreams...and simple sports-dance.

Maybe I'm a 'fan-atic' of the Rams. Maybe I'm a football-cards 'junkie' of the USA. Maybe I'm just plain eccentric. However, my Rams cards reveal why American 'football' is indicative of the legendary ornamentation of the most marketed sport in US history. I consider myself a 'nerdist' of Rams diadems. Don't you agree, folks? I look the part, at least!

So, to commemorate this year's Super Bowl triumph, I've purchased a 'classic' Rams hat, and I think it'll always remind me why I love watching Rams games (live!) and downloading Rams game(s) (YouTube) and why my Rams card-collection is an American fashion!

"No one likes the Rams as much as a 'real' designer" (Amlan Satan, Rams fans/card-collector).
