"

An homage to video-game graphics/fantasy as re-presented through a reporter's/fan's dream-adventure about a warrior-princess' design(s).

"
An homage to Mortal Kombat, video-games, and consumerism detention, inspired loosely by The Wizard (Fred Savage)!

People around the world were engaged in forms of great Mortal Kombat video-game fanfare and online tourneys celebrating the raw joy of combat-styled gaming. In fact, Mortal Kombat, once a very pronounced/controversial graphic fighting-game had now become an intercontinental hallmark of action-adventure play and with the right parental supervision/guidance would inspire youngsters to think actively about strength and military training in fantasy-realms.

Amlan Satan is a video-game reporter/critic/aficionado who's been covering Mortal Kombat fanfare/conventions for some time, after graduating from Dartmouth with a degree in cognitive science. Satan (Amlan) believes Mortal Kombat games may encourage youngsters to think more actively about the orientations of combat-weaponry and the value of medical attention in times of great warfare. He's a real 'nerdist' of video-game graphics/dialogue.

AMLAN SATAN: I'm reporting/covering the special symbolism behind the Mortal Kombat warrior-princess Kitana!

Amlan's transported inside the universe of Mortal Kombat through a magic-portal while he's dream-sleeping and realizes he's landed in the fantasy-arena of 'Outworld' in which the Kombat tourneys involving many wondrous weaponized warriors (from heaven-and-hell) engage in supervised fights-to-death.

AMLAN SATAN: The world I know is complex enough, and I'm using my knowledge of civilization to analyze Outworld now!

Fortunately, Amlan Satan was an 'ace' in fencing-sport in college (Dartmouth), but thin-sword elegance may not be sufficient to cover this experience of dreams in Outworld, since the combat in Mortal Kombat is much more...dangerous!

KITANA: I consider myself a warrior-princess and messenger of the control(s) of ultra-violence and graphic bloody murder!

Satan (Amlan) witnesses firsthand the exquisite warrior-princess Kitana, a fierce combatant who wields sharp blade-fans which she throws to literally decapitate her adversaries like Jason, Jax, and Jade (the '3 Js'). First, Satan witnesses Kitana the warrior-princess dethrone the machete-wielding Jason who tries to goad her feminine-mystique and sensibilities regarding 'private' prayer(s).

Next, Satan (Amlan) witnesses the fierce/valiant Kitana tackle the venomous chainsaw-wielding Leatherface, a figure of real horror! She uses her blade fans to slice off his arms which he'd otherwise use to hurl/hold his evil chainsaw weapon! Satan congratulates Kitana who'd obviously triumphed over the world-challenge of violence-play!

Finally, Satan witnesses Kitana challenge the likes of the warlord/warlock Kung-Lao who launches his own 'blade-weapon' (a thin metal-rimmed throwing-hat) to decapitate his fierce enemies. However, Kitana 'retorts' by launching her blade-fans at his knees and overcomes the awesome warlord's power over prestige, passion, and poetry!

When Amlan Satan awakes from this insane Mortal Kombat dream-sleep, he decides he'll get geared and costumed for excellent Mortal Kombat conventions and events and video-game tourneys and champion 'Kitana' as his angel of video-games for journalistic reports in various modern magazines like Maxim and Gamer.

AMLAN SATAN: Incredibly, I've met a gorgeous young Mediterranean woman/fan at these events who looks like Kitana herself!

This young woman is Kanda, a Mediterranean stunner who happens to be a 'big' fan of Kitana, and she enjoys using the Mortal Kombat 'avatar' to play youngsters in online tourneys. Kanda/Amlan attend a Lions (American football) game together and kiss when they notice they're on camera/TV together for a moment and cheer on the lovely blue-dress(ed) cheerleader(s) who're almost like 'Kitana-fanfare' dolls, wearing that distinctive 'blue' that Kitana wears in Outworld.

AMLAN SATAN: Video-games can be graphic/dangerous; with right adult critique, they can reflect our consumerism dream(s).

For this modern age of media/tech-toys, what kinds of daydreams/storytelling can define this new era of indoor entertainment, consumerism driven imagination(s), and of course, Mortal Kombat divinity?
