Weyland/Origae: Captain Satan's Dune

A valiant Weyland space-soldier travels to Origae to possibly 'captain' a team of human laborers who've discovered a potentially 'evil' intelligent alien!

I've opted to sign off with a fanfiction of Alien , featuring story-elements/techniques of re-presentation I've enjoyed using in the past (and which I hope readers like!).

Amlan Satan is a hard-working employee and space-pilot/soldier for the ambitious Weyland Company on Earth. He's been assigned to go on a mission to planet Origae where a Company mining-station for gold has already been established but is lacking in a soldier who may 'captain' the population of male laborers to confront/engage a potentially discovered hostile 'alien' which has been named the Xenomorph for its insect-dragon like appearance combined with an uncanny swift ability to trek and 'adapt' or 'bend' to the contours of its environment and therefore become a more rapid hunter/killer. It's smart and evil, and all the Company knows is that it's been running/hiding in the ventilation tunnels beneath the mining-factory (gold/lead) and demand a skilled solider (like Amlan Satan!) land there to lead the men to confront (or kill) the creature, which will bring Satan (Amlan) great laurels.

AMLAN SATAN: I waited for a war-mission like this; and I said farewell to my cheerleader-gal (in case I never return).

The Company ship that will fly Amlan Satan to Planet Origae is called the Sulaco, and it's impressive and can be manned just by one pilot (Amlan!). He's been trained to fly such a 'thing' and knows how to manage technical vehicle(s) and can land the sucker on Origae with due diligence, and he mentioned himself in a pre-mission statement, "The Sulaco is almost like a toy!"

When the Sulaco lands on Origae ('Planet 4'), Amlan is ordered to first trek across its various terrestrial environments and ecosystems and search for the 'Xenomorph' alien which may be somewhere simply lurking and trying to hide/live on the planet, but no one really knows for sure.

The gold-lead factory on Origae is quite stark and labor-rich, and the men who work there are truly frightened this 'creature' of apparent predatory intent may simply be lurking along the underground tunnels, waiting for the 'right moment' to strike as a species-hunter. Amlan trains all the laborers/men to perform choreographed laser-gun armed maze/tunnel running in groups or 2-by-2 so as to disorient and imbalance the Xenomorph which will most likely be chasing them around the tunnels beneath this gold-lead factory system on Origae.

AMLAN SATAN: I'm prepped myself for this tunnel 'adventure' with this intelligent predatory Xeno-alien, and I look the part.

The male 'runners' of the tunnel-system are given special Weyland guns and trained by Satan (Amlan) to pretend they're playing tag-football or indoor team-soccer and therefore performing choreographed motion(s) of give-and-go evasion and firing, using the laser 'liberally' to simply target the Xenomorph's eyes and feet (to best handicap/debilitate the ravenous and swift creature from Hell). Satan (Amlan) tells all the human runners in the tunnels, "This gun is your basic dream."

AMLAN SATAN: There's a high probability some of you will be gorged/eaten by the Xeno-alien but fight/react for distance(s).

They discover an entire 'patch' of Xenomorph alien eggs in the tunnels which has been laid by the 'queen' Xenomorph and guess that it might have already replicated/reproduced or given birth to baby aliens which have grown rapidly in size for a full planetary domination scheme (if the Xeno-alien is indeed as 'hostile' or evil as it looks), which is why Amlan orders 3 of the men to simply guard the egg-area with their laser-guns and shoot-to-kill if the parent/host Xeno returns to take stock and may be surprised!

Finally, the runners spot the Xeno-alien in the tunnel system and begin performing their trained/choreographed teamwork 'tactic' of evasion-and-firing (laser-gunpower!) and thereby disorient the creature which does indeed turn out to be hostile as hell and uses its claws and teeth to gnaw and rip away at human victim flesh; it kills 15 of the 50 men in the tunnels within 3 hours, and Satan (Amlan), the 'captain' of the dark adventure, surmises there may be more than 1 Xenomorph lurking and creating this horrific body-count!

AMLAN SATAN: I was correct; there's multiple(s), and some are larger and resemble more insect-like things; all must die!

The 'team' manages to kill 5 Xenomorphs it spots and lures the final one into the hot lead-bath with a 2-2 bait-running team which includes Amlan Satan, the 'captain' of this dark adventure, himself. They all watch as the final 'adult' super-killer is turned into 'designed' ash.

When Amlan returns to Earth, he's given a hero's welcome and kisses his cheerleader-gal and comments to the media, "I didn't think of the Company while landing back on night-lit Earth...I thought about the securities of civilization on Earth itself!"
