Honey-Bears: The Chicago Humor(s)

An offbeat tale of Windy City intrigue, vigilance, free-speech dilemma(s), and football dates.

Instead of that searing Crimea/Ukraine dilemma diorama, I'm signing off with this sports-diorama (after all), a dedication to the 'bygone-era' of those wondrous Chicago Honey Bears (football cheerleaders).

The Windy City's not seen a Super Bowl title in some time now, and some think there's a hanging sun-curse created by the loose dismissal of the iconic/celebrated Honey Bears Cheerleader squad of that era and the decades before it. Is Chicago facing this curse truly?

The legendary 1985 Bears won the Super Bowl title in what will always be considered a triumph in the media-broadcast era of pro-sports in North America. This was however a momentary shiny cheer, as the Bears never returned to that immaculate form of miraculous victory.

A ninja-vigilante named Storm-Shadow is hired to protect a new women's league in the Windy City which is lobbying in cyber-forums/blogs to advocate the celebration of those iconic Honey Bears Cheerleaders of yesteryear. This women's league, known as the D-Team, has been facing serious death-threats online, from fanatics claiming they're simply seeking to 'draw fear' because of the post-Honey Bears ear 'Chicago football curse rumor' and trying to resurrect a 'scandalous' era of media-broadcast football, an era scarred by stories about social criticism(s) against the 'parading of dancing women' on football-fields which distract athletes/fans from the athletics-game itself! The D-Team women's league, arguing it's simply 'cheering what the Honey Bears introduced to sports-media in that yesteryear-era --- a 'sense' of socialized ornamentation governed by customs-civilities! That's why this ninja-vigilante Storm-Shadow's hired to offer security to the cyber-blogging women's league (D-Team) in Chicago!

STORM-SHADOW: The Honey Bears burgeoned in that inception-time(s) of Playboy, and it drowned during its equal inquiries.

Now, Storm-Shadow happens to be a timeless Bears (American-football) fan, and he was actually a cyber-researching 'closet-fan' of the Honey Bears 'era' of Bears football which saw that truly 'unforgettable' Super Bowl victory! He doesn't want this new homeland 'threat' to the women's league (D-Team), facing threats because of cyber-blogs celebrating what football-cheerleaders offer to media-broadcast era sports in North America --- a shared sense of patriotic dancing!

While the Windy City police are deployed to offer some modest security for the cyber-blogging D-Team, they're helpless in tracking/pursuing these threat-mongers and fanatics who want to extinguish (or 'execute'!) the liberal D-Team. That's why Storm-Shadow has to offer a 'sense' of securities that's simply too challenged for the 'normal' street cops of the iconic US city, where Bears/Bulls/Blackhawks pro-sports broadcasts symbolize true American daydreams.

STORM-SHADOW: I'm making costumed 'vigilance' blogs claiming, "Threats to Honey Bears memory requires direct dancing!"

Now, Storm-Shadow's no 'ordained policeman' in the iconic Windy City, but he does care about the poetry of socialized distancing and media-participation, and he wants to protect the threatened liberal D-Team women's league cyber-bloggers who're only using free-speech ideas to talk about 'women in entertainment' in the modern/media age. He's no cop, but while creating incisive street-gossip blog-defenses (online) about 'American spirit(s),' Storm-Shadow's also patrolling D-Team headquarters in Chicago and meeting-rooms/spaces, making sure any individual(s) or vehicle(s) seeming to be 'following' the women-bloggers are swiftly checked for their road passing(s).

BEARS FANS: We people/fans of the Windy City only want safe-feelings to enjoy football games and avoid cyber-depression.

Fortunately, this swift 'ninja-vigilante' campaign employed by the clever 'Storm-Shadow' manages to swing open the doors for more 'liberal' free-speech agenda defense(s), and the Chicago Tribune happily reports in one of its editorials, "America is the land of great daydreams...simply because our 'vigilant' citizens simply care about socialized distancing, teamwork, free-speech, and everyday good old doughnuts."
