Amlan Satan works as a blood-diamond operationalist with Interpol-relations in sectarian-poor Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) but has been invited back to his Boston high-school reunion this autumn.

INTERPOL: Blood-diamond corruption today threatens the world-diamond exchange and makes terrorism woe!

Working as a gov't-specter in Northern Ireland isn't easy, and it's taxed poor Amlan's mind, and maybe the very best thing for his fractured mind is some high-school sweet(s).

Amlan stops at a Friends of Sinn Fein building in South Boston before seeing his mother and trying to reconnect with his high-school cheerleader girlfriend Elana.

AMLAN SATAN: I dunno what I'll say to Elana (e.g., "Well I wander the streets with masked guerrillas trying to find diamonds").

However, such 'deep thoughts' are far from this American hometown-boy's mind, since he's checked into the Marriott in Boston and prepping now for his high-school reunion (and enjoying his stay-vacation).

AMLAN: You didn't think I'd return to Boston for this reunion thing, eh?

ELANA: I haven't seen you in 10 years, and I'm wondering if you think I'm just a magazine-girl.

He reconciles with the grudge-holding Elana (his high-school sweetheart) and connects with her father James who's still somewhat antsy about why he 'disappeared' after high-school and didn't reconnect earlier with his only daughter whom he should've married years ago, but Amlan can't tell him about his double-life.

Unfortunately, a rogue member of the Ulster Volunteer Force has also followed Amlan Satan to Boston for his high-school reunion, ordered to kill the gov't-specter who might throw a proverbial 'monkey-wrench' into new age street piracy blueprints for exploited Belfast.

AMLAN SATAN: There's a strange peace to sitting in a hotel-suite dining room and staring out the window in peace.

Despite all these complications, the Boston reunion goes great, and Elana's Amlan's happy-date at the memorable event, but Amlan is still in the dark about the Ulster Volunteer Force 'bad-guy' who's tracked him to the event, snuck in, and seeking to create a 'distraction' while killing him.

Amlan's at his old locker-room looking for his personals during the Boston reunion held inside the high-school building when the Ulster Volunteer Force assassin finds him alone and tries to kill him, forcing Amlan to use his pen to stab the bad-guy in the neck before burning his body in the high-school building basement incinerator to rid the evidence with ashes! He then gives Elana a cartoon-drawing (colored) of an 'Irish' folk-hero of the street, perhaps representing himself as a 'James Bond' of antipiracy mission(s) in Belfast (Northern Ireland)!

ELANA: So you're a mystery and think you'll just waltz in and out of my life, right?
AMLAN: I'm not confident...simply hopeful.

ELANA: You have a hidden gun in your pocket, I bet; a secret-life of danger and hell I don't want.

AMLAN: What if it's a miniature James Bond silencer you'll never have to worry about when we marry?

ELANA: That sounds at least more conceivable.

AMLAN: Conceivable is very divine.

Amlan/Elana married and he retired from blood-diamond work and moved in with Elana and her dad (James) in what would become a much more 'normal' American life in New England. Amlan always wondered one thing --- "What if I opted not to go home to attend my reunion...with Elana?"
