Live the Scooter

Helena is a European woman of average promise but with great flair for scooter-riding daydreams.

A very quick Sunday short about European daydreams to sign off, inspired by Under the Tuscan Sun (Diane Lane).

Helena worked in Europe as a baker's assistant and then a flower-girl but also liked riding around her prized Vespa scooter all around the streets and alleys and sea-cliff roads of her residential area. She'd grown up with a special fascination with the fine sensual wonders of life itself and considered her scooter her 'vehicle' for outdoor adventure. Helena was not attractive in a normal sense, since her face resembled something more of an older woman, but her physique was nearly perfect and so her body was very shapely. This made her feel both fit and curious about mobility and even during the Coronavirus quarantine tribulation, she'd liked the idea of roaming around in her Vespa with a simple protective mask. She's become an imagineer of mobility and the sensual feelings associated with mobility itself.

HELENA: Maybe my Vespa is an extension of my hair --- some mobility-symbol of life's surroundings!

Helena wondered if all this imagination about the sensual feelings of mobility would make her finally and much more curious about 'settling down' with a nice handsome man to marry, someone who'd provide for her and cultivate in her a sense of private interests like gardening and poetry. She wondered if she'd find a man in this European area who's suit her own interests in personal imagination fertility (or fertilization!). Helena thought about this and decided she's find some nice man while riding around in her Vespa all around Europe. Hopefully, her safe habits and security sanity would ensure her own safe-form of Vespa-scooter riding wouldn't bring her closer to any undesirable forms of road rage or accident-prone life drowning darkness. That's the gist of this Vepsa diary.
