Boston is a complex city and it's also affable and ambitious in scope and pluralism in spirit and democratic in definition and academic in reputation (thanks to all the respectable schools) and geometric in shapes.

Detective Satan is a hot Algerian-American rookie-cop in Boston who's working homicide after graduating from the Academy and wants to make his mark in this fair US city by dealing with some of the worst forms of modern evil. He's immediately assigned to a very complicated case, working alongside a more veteran detective in Homicide named Somerset but has his own intent to create a thorough approach, defining himself as a 'young' Sherlock Holmes.

His wife Ezzy is a beautiful young Algerian-American who recently moved to the US from Algiers and met Satan in Harvard Square and fell in love instantly and got married in a fortnight. In all honesty, she's not that into Amlan's 'scheme' to become an ultimate 'Sherlock Holmes' in the Boston homicide department and confides in his mentor, veteran Somerset, to tell him that she'd 'rather' he work on a less heavy job in a city like Boston where traffic may be more conducive to a more 'artistic' profession!

DETECTIVE SATAN: This case stinks, Somerset; three murders with notes about the 7 Deadly Sins; the deed(s) of an evil man.

This 'evil man' is Argon, a crimelord who's decided to become more religious/artistic with his series of 7 grizzly crimes in fair Boston. Argon had dabbled in blood-diamond switches, drug-traffic from British Columbia, and extortion. However, he'd suddenly decided, after reading Chaucer (so he claims/believes!), that he'd rather be into a new 'dandy' of criminality, an approach to the 7 Sins modeled purely for the sake of messaging to the modern world that vice is as 'pronounced' and metaphysical...as victory!

DETECTIVE SATAN: Somerset, I think Argon's the man in these crimes, and he's going to hit the Catholic church for terrorism.

ARGON: When this hotshot detective 'Satan' discovers Sherlock Holmes wouldn't 'nab' me, he'll disappoint himself dearly.

When veteran mentor Somerset advises rookie Satan closely that he 'thinks' Argon will track and target his young beautiful Algerian wife (Ezzy) for his media messaging about pursuit(s) of darkness, Satan has little choice but to become more clandestine and operate(s) with a more 'vigilante' view of the prosecution of these 7-Sins crimes. He starts to dress like Sherlock Holmes and posts cyber-blogs claiming, "If Argon is the man responsible, perhaps we'll discover why crime can dress."

Detective Satan starts posting little doodles of comic book avatars in his cyber-blogs to cast the 7-Sins crime(s) in Boston perpetrated/calculated by the 'evil man' Argon, and the crimelord-turned-fanatic feels the frustration of being 'retorted' by a 'Sherlock Holmes' with a 'raw' message of human traffic/imagination(s) distance(s).

ARGON: If hotshot 'Satan' thinks he'll subvert my 'aura' with this Sherlock approach to deflation, I'll become a toy-man devil!

Satan discovers Argon's been playing the online cyber-football game(s) posing as a 'natural fanatic' of youth-networking and challenges him anonymously, detecting his 'personality fingerprint(s)' and outwitting him in the game by 'casting' him in the cyber-arena as more of a 'fanatic' than a 'detective' of social fitness (games)!

In this scope of pursuit, the wily Satan manages to cast Argon as a 'personality' comparable to or worthy of terrorism-analysis rather than 'metaphysics' prosecution(s)! Argon's frustration draws him to a movie-theater in the ethnic district of Boston where unwinding seems smart, but it's where Detective Satan manages to actually/finally nab him...during a screening of a 'dark' story!
