An opus on sports-life immersions, inspired loosely by the very jovial recent film Bend It Like Beckham. Hope you like it (signing off again),

==== This is a time of great socialization/distance coordination meditation. This is the era of Facebook and Planet Hollywood and social activity celebrations, reminding us of the 'splendor' of traffic/lifestyle themed artworks depicting the basic human drama of life. ![]() All this social consciousness prompts a nice imagination about sports. We love sports in Western civilization, and this is the tale of an Asian-Indian family moving from Amsterdam to Colorado to integrate into the world of modern sports and why they re-present a natural fascination with the 'game' of life itself. ![]() The protagonist, Amlan Satan, is an Ivy League graduate who studied sociology and wanted to apply this education to the world of youth-experiences. He decided to immerse into the modern life of social activity by becoming a sports coach of some kind (in Amsterdam) and used his sociology education in college to appreciate the quality of life. ![]() Amlan Satan played both 'soccer' (a field game of kicking-ball sport of two teams attempting to score on the opponent's goal with efficient offense-defense rotations) and 'football' (a throwing-running toughness and speed game of helmeted athletes trying to reach the opponent's team 'end-zone' in 4 quarters) as a youngster and at Dartmouth. He's the protagonist and is going to Amsterdam. ![]() In Europe/Amsterdam, Satan (Amlan) has become a youth-league soccer coach, celebrating why this sport in Western civilization (outside the United States) captures a street-spirit about elegant social fitness. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: Our Amsterdam youth-soccer team has reached the Semi-Finals and is my 'gem' of coaching drawings. ![]() Amlan is half-Asian/Indian and is now moving with his mom/sister to Colorado where he might become a youth-league football coach! He knew he played soccer well at college as well as football and now wanted to apply this experience to shift from youth-soccer coaching to youth-football coaching! In America/Colorado, Amlan can enjoy Indian-broadcast (cable-TV) of iconic Indian social programs featuring designs of competition culture. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: Our Colorado home is delightful, and we're excited to get involved in the local community/culture! ![]() When he went to the local laundromat, he met the beautiful single Algerian-American woman Ezzy and fell in love and got married after just 3 months. She became his wife and moved in with his mom/sister and became his new 'angel' of fortunes as he prepared to become a youth-football coach in Colorado (United States). ![]() EZZY: Our shared Colorado home is awesome, and I sometimes go to see Amlan's youth-football games with mom/sis. ![]() Mom and sister wouldn't be happier moving to the United States (from Amsterdam) to enjoy this new 'lens' of social life, as darling Amlan embraces this 'social shift' from soccer to football, and they go to the games with Ezzy and mom loves to cook Indian food at home for everybody! ![]() AMLAN SATAN: In this era of traffic/distances, it's nice to know social-media helps us 'mount' the joys of shared activity. ![]() EZZY: Mmm, mom's cottage-cheese butter-curry and bread (or rice) is the perfect Saturday lunch for pre-game oxygen. ![]() Sometimes, Amlan has to fly back to the Amsterdam social soccer community for his fanzine contribution to articles/editorials about being a world-coach of youth-sports in this exploratory era of socialized distances. ![]() EZZY: Our cool kitten Sorsha is a terrific addition to our family and hopefully will add some 'magic' to Colorado life. ![]() Being a soccer-coach in Amsterdam required coolness and composure. Being a football-coach in Colorado (United States) requires simple confidence. Amlan Satan had/has what it takes. ![]() He takes 'furious' notes about the parallax parallels between 'soccer' (most popular sport outside the United States) and 'football' (most popular sport in the United States) and why the two games re-present our modern socialized fascination with choreographed coordination of teamwork, offense-defense temperance, and of course 'inventive' diagrams! ![]() Youth-football coaching in Colorado became a wonderful experience for the Satan family. Ezzy's happy and so is Amlan's mom/sister. Why not appreciate why an approach to shared experience symbolizes our modern view of simple living destiny? ![]() When Amlan/Ezzy have a son (Damian), they'll purchase him a sports-diorama hobby-kit and perhaps 'cultivate' his own interests in sports as a symbol or gem of social dreams. ![]() AMLAN SATAN: For Americans, it's football and not soccer that captures the cheerleader-spirits, and we've embraced both! ![]() When the Satan family converts to Mormonism (Colorado), they learn even more about those special 'links' between attitude/consciousness and lifestyle decisions. This is modern life and it's all...divine! ![]() AMLAN SATAN: I think the main reason Western civilization 'hugs' sports as reflections is because it captures democracy. ![]() He begins his new novel about being a youth-sports coach in the West, first as a soccer-man in Amsterdam and then as a football-man/coach in Colorado (United States) alongside his wife and mom and sister. He's thinking such a 'venture' will magnify this 'daydream' about a 'living' design! ![]() AMLAN SATAN: Today's world-sport celebrities (David Beckham) electrify our living focus on the trend of drama-doctoring. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
