The War DeclineA Story by Abishai100A diorama re-presenting the 'dark face' of civilization-war, and why it 'colors' our 'sense' of group-detention.
A diorama about war and innocence (signing off),
----
==== The story of civilization is about the 'color' of war, and it re-presents our certain awareness/consciousness regarding the dramatic mobilization of peoples! There's strange wars, world wars, revolutionary wars, and civil wars. These types of wars 'color' the nature of human customs/exchange and re-present our intention towards true dialogue and hopeful commercial peace between groups and nations. We think of the strange 'tide' of the Algerian revolution against French colonial rule, for example, and we're reminded of the very complex quality of culture-based disagreement and the uprising of people dissatisfied with the 'textures' of governance/rule by foreign parties. We think of the loss of innocence 'colored' by the machinery of emotion and the depressions behind socialized distances! ![]() We may 'equally' think of the great Irish struggle against British-Protestant occupation in mainland Catholic Ireland and eventually occupied Northern Ireland, where British-Protestants comprised a majority rule by consent for compromised required colonial settlement based demographic history. The struggle between Irish-Catholics against British-Protestant rule in Western civilization comprised a gruntwork for sectarian troubles 'coloring' the two dominant denominations of the Christian church in Western civilization! This is the loss of innocence --- the dire need to express a social demand for equity or reform in the face of an overwhelming governance realism regarding occupied settled areas where two different groups, in this case religious/cultural groups, erect a 'form' of strange armed mobilization reminding us of the poetic 'terrors' of escalation, depressions, and unfortunately, inevitable fiery violence. ![]() I've been a writer for some time now, and what I think of most when I think of the 'nature' of war and the human innocence backlash which creates a 'social protest' for the pendulum-demand for disarmament, I think of the human stories that emerge during these experiences of dark violence or group-conflicts. There's a certain light and shadow that is created in this experience of ultimate human drama, and be it romance or tragedy, it creates a 'haunting' folk-tale consciousness regarding the 'shape' and 'design' of machinery and what the 'stranger' Ichabod Crane might refer to as a 'modern' dread. ==== "Money is everything" (Ecclesiastes) © 2022 Abishai100 |
