A laborious American football cheerleader (Sandy) wanted to 'escape' from her normal life in North America and travel to the countryside and forest(s) of lush Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) to investigate some faerie-mythology inquiries in the area. 'Faeries' (winged humanoids of small size with messages about life mystery) were part of the Irish folklore and coupled with historic tales of 'leprechauns' (green-costumed impish gold-pot holding fortune messengers in the forests) and therefore intrigued Sandy who wanted something more in her life than just media-broadcast sports (football) dancing which had become her entire life work.

SANDY: I've found a 'theosophical' faerie-mythology 'club' at a social-house at a New England Ivy Leage school for inception!

Sandy suddenly found herself becoming a 'detective' in this faerie-quest for the inquiries into the sheer 'existence' of these fabled winged humanoid creatures in the Northern Irish forests with imaginations about immortality and life's intuitions. She decided this would alter her consciousness regarding metaphysics-dance.

SANDY: If I find the right tone of work here, in Northern Ireland, I'll write a story or perhaps even a novel (Faerie-Dartmouth).

Faerie-myth(s) had become quite popular in recent times, seeing a resurgence in social appeal with the rise of the computer age, perhaps as a 'backlash' against the tech-obsessive use of 'convenience-driven' metallurgy. A faerie after all captures a mental fascination with the 'motions' of more misty or magical muscularity and hence delivers us from the calculating 'typing' of computer-use! This is perhaps what drew Sandy into this strange obsessive activity, but would she find adequate illumination?

SANDY: I've rented a terrific Volvo-car and will drive it to go camping in the Northern Ireland countryside with camera/quill.

Sandy was haunted by the raw beauty of the Northern Ireland countryside. She wondered if her camping experience(s) would 'awaken' in her a sense of natural magic or curiosity. However, what she really yearned for in this haunting land (which she traveled to from North America!) is some 'evidence' of faerie-existence, to help her 'leap' out of the tedious life of media and sports-works. This countryside by moonlight would lead one to 'think' there's some real 'brand' of immortality here.

SANDY: Oh goodness, I've spotted a real faerie/fairy, and I'm convinced it was no firefly or dragonfly, and I have a photo!

Now, Sandy knew the Northern Ireland land was 'troubled' by sectarian woe(s) and violence between Catholics-Protestants regarding socioeconomics conditions disparities and poverty endured by the Catholic minority population. She wondered if the existence of these magical 'faeries' would somehow 'soothe' or cure the social-human 'darkness' of mobilized angst...or terrorism.

SANDY: I'll go to a Belfast pub and show my photo and see if I can find a sympathetic ear or voice for this inquiry now.

Sandy slept like a baby that night in her inn-room, and she put on her Olay beauty-fluid after looking at her 'fantastic' faerie-photo one more time. She was drunk, having been given too much ale by the Belfast pub-tender whom she thought seemed somewhat 'unusual' and while very drunk thought she hallucinated he exhibited glowing eyes! She asked herself before soothing herself to sleep with an Olay 'bath', "Was that bartender a faerie in disguise?"

SANDY: I decided to go see a doctor the next day, and I swore she exhibited glowing eyes too if only for a moment!

Sandy decided that if there were actually 'real' faeries and humanoid-faeries 'disguised' as Northern Ireland residents/citizens, that this 'existence' or occupation of the land(s) by these magical winged creatures with messages of life's magic(s) might offer some spiritual treatment for the complications of politics/life in this area, which a prominent Irish leader wrote about, suggesting parallels in anticolonial fears in both Ireland and India revealed strange human dreams.

Finally, Sandy encountered an Algerian-American 'detective' who'd been searching for signs of faerie-existence. This man, Amlan Satan ('Storm-Shadow') was sitting in a Belfast library reading a book about Irish lore and faerie-myth when Sandy met him, since she too wanted some literary readings of Irish folk-tales/myths. This man agreed to go to the same forest/countryside area where Sandy (the American sports cheerleader!) photographed her claimed 'real faerie' and see if there was credence to this quest of hers. Sandy found this man to be quite odd and earnest simultaneously, and during their forest/countryside journey, he dressed up like Sherlock Holmes himself, complete with some light-illumination and phot-trick tools/kits.

SANDY: You seem so earnest/curious in your own faerie-view, Mr. Satan.
SATAN (Amlan): I'm a 'detective' of this area's lore and imagination, lovely Sandy!
SANDY: I like you share my fascination with this subject of inquiry, Mr. Satan.
SATAN: Well, I too believe faeries may deliver us some special insight into life's ditches.
SANDY: Well, I hope you'll believe in my 'photo' if we find further evidence in this quest.
SATAN: Sandy, I wonder if you indulge too much in escapism and might find relief in human art.
SANDY: What, like painting?
SATAN: You might find that a simple imagination-exercise in watercolor(s) would entreat you.
SANDY: How's that?
SATAN: Like me, Sandy, you seek after the faerie-myth for some clues into the depths of physics, right?
SANDY: The physics of colors...I see what you mean, Mr. Satan.
SATAN: Perhaps the two of us might find there's 'real' darkness in indulgences in quests with no human right.
SANDY: Why do you pursue this quest yourself, Amlan?
SATAN: Let's just say I share your 'dream' about the life's odd search for purified color(s)...or detention!
SANDY: Cool.

Would Sandy/Satan find what they sought after in that haunting countryside and forest(s) of lush but complex Northern Ireland? Would this faerie-quest create the right 'brand' of imagination vibrancy that Sandy/Satan hoped their inquiry (into 'faerie-existence') would offer regarding the 'raw nature' of Earth dimension(s)? Perhaps a faerie is simply...a friend.
