Tanya is a fantastic warrior-woman in Outworld, vying with the likes of Shao Kahn and siding with Shinook and creating special-rings of combat and power-ring(s) intrigue and establishing herself as an 'outlier' woman-warrior of survivor means and philosophy. She'd been courting the idea of approaching the great Raiden as a companion and counselor and entreating him to help her overtake the new lord of Outworld, Kotal Kahn, and it seems to everyone around her that she'd become the ultimate feminine-mystique symbol of trekking courage. Added to this, her peculiar Egyptian mannerisms/dress make her something of an 'ornate' combatant and has the ability to do split-kicks and hand-magic fire-blasts designed to completely disorient her opponents. She'd been allied in the past with the warrior-woman Mileena, a comparable 'anti-heroine' of survivor-consciousness, and Tanya was someone who'd always be considered a 'cheerleader' of empire deconstructions!

Outworld is a realm in a faraway dimension, and it's been cast in the Earth-realm combat video-game series Mortal Kombat, which is what brings us to the subject of this tale. An Earth-realm 'Sherlock Holmes' of video-game intrigue, Amlan Satan (aka, 'Storm-Shadow") happens to be an immense cyber Mortal Kombat fan, participating in online gaming and fanfare and considers himself the 'ultimate' Tanya fan. In fact, despite the fact that Storm-Shadow (Amlan Satan) is a man, he likes using Tanya has is combat 'avatar' for the Mortal Kombat cyber-tourneys (online-gaming) in Outworld. He thinks of himself as a 'nerdist' of the empire-pyramids deconstructions that have made Tanya a legend. He considers himself the ultimate Tanya fan and dreams of one day 'crossing-over' into the Mortal Kombat universe and marrying Tanya. He's her biggest fan...and admirer...a real 'Sherlock Holmes' of the dominion of combat-detective(s) work.

SATAN: I can't believe I'm in Outworld, Tanya!
TANYA: You've found our domain and me too, Amlan Satan.
SATAN: I've been the 'ultimate' fan of Mortal Kombat (Outworld).
TANYA: You seem rather hypnotized by my beauty-magic, Satan.
SATAN: That's right; I'm your biggest fan.
TANYA: So, in Earth-realm, you cast our Outworld for synthetic cyber gaming?
SATAN: We humans have surmised the perimeters of your imaginative dimension!
TANYA: You discovered you've fallen in love with me then, eh?
SATAN: I can't believe I'm in Outworld, Tanya!
TANYA: Perhaps you've daydreamed or dreamed (during sleep!) that you're in Outworld.
SATAN: No, no; I'm sure I'm here in Outworld with you here and now, Tanya.
TANYA: So, what's your scheme, Amlan Satan?
SATAN: I'm an Algerian-American professor at Dartmouth (Ivy League).
TANYA: What's the Ivy League, Satan?
SATAN: It's the most prestigious league of colleges/universities on Earth!
TANYA: Dartmouth is one of the best schools in your homeland?
SATAN: That's right!
TANYA: How'd you get into the synthetics of cyber-gaming (Mortal Kombat)?
SATAN: I discovered that Outworld is a fantastic realm of courage-fantasy.
TANYA: And then you used my cyber 'avatar' and found you fell in love with me?
SATAN: I daydreamed I'd be your 'knight-prince' and rescue you away from Kotal Kahn!
TANYA: I don't need a rescue from a 'fan' on Earth-realm, Amlan Satan.
SATAN: Sure you do, Tanya; I'm a prestigious educator; I can bring you diamonds from Earth.
TANYA: Really?
SATAN: That's right; I'm your biggest fan...and personal lawyer.
TANYA: I need a lawyer.

SATAN: Outworld fighting is intense and graphic...but of dreamlike timelines.

TANYA: You seek to 'market' my Egyptian fashion(s) for students of Mortal Kombat?

SATAN: That's right; I'll celebrate you as an Egyptian 'goddess' of war-arena tactic.

TANYA: Why?
SATAN: So that you will marry me.

TANYA: You've no girlfriend on Earth-realm?

SATAN: Of course I do!
