Cubs Drummer: Windy-City Drawing(s)

A Story by Abishai100
"

A piece about baseball-cards spirit, in the Windy City where a fan of intriguing proportion showcases his love of dugouts.

"
A toast to American (Chicago) baseball-dollar(s), inspired loosely by Mr. Destiny (John Belushi). Enjoy,

Chicago has a terrifically nice/affordable apartment and is owned by a professor of capitalism named Amlan Satan who loves to stare out his window-view and daydream about his baseball-cards collection. He's a real fan of American baseball which might explain his terrific Chicago window-view and attitude towards American life.

As a 'Sherlock Holmes' of the capitalism underground by his double-life, Amlan Satan doubles as a real-life James Bond evaluating the labyrinth impact of blood-diamond pirate traffic between British Columbia (North America) and Northern Ireland (United Kingdom).

He has two vintage Cubs cards of real collector/fan-value to him, and one of the two double-dragons is the Mark Grace (Donruss) rookie card, which is a real 'gem' of American sports trophies, which baseball-fans consider reflective of the general 'splendor' of the modern Windy City (USA)!

The second Cubs baseball-card in Chicago Dr. Satan has of real value to him is the Ryne Sandberg (Topps) second-year card. Sure it's the rookie-Ryne card, but the second-year holds special significance in the cards-market/matrix, since it re-presents an American 'attitude' towards the 'aesthetics/flowery' of the cards mosaic in the modern era. It's a 'fan's card' (really).

His wife's also a Cubs baseball fan, but she prefers watching the real-life games and doesn't indulge in the sports-paraphernalia aspect of the fanfare behind the iconic American sport. In fact, she once was a participant in a game-startup fan-batting exhibition showcase in the Windy City one summer after they married in Chicago!

AMLAN SATAN: Cubs cards are all my life, and I dunno which card (Grace/Sandberg) is the better 'dream' for me!
